Per Mike Fisher: Jerry is worried if he can sell the idea of Mike McCarthy return to fans

He can’t sell it to the fans, but he’s definitely not worried about it, he has never and will never care one bit about what fans think.

Yes it's Fish, I know a lot of you don't care for him that much, I just like to hear this insight

That's the problem...JJ is more worried about what the fans will buy into than what will best for building a winning team.

Jerry can't sell Dak returning to the fans, and it's going to destroy America's Team, once and for all.

As a general manager, if u are basing your decisions on what the fans will think, that tells you everything u need to know about him and this organization.

Jerry is more worried about the possibility of losing revenue due to lack of interest than he actually is in putting this team in the best possible position to succeed (which should start with hiring a real GM).

Jerry is the ultimate salesman. He would have an easier time running a greased spoon up a pigs but. Then running the idea of McCarthy returning to the Cowboys fan base.

Without a franchise QB who can win games in crunch time it doesn't matter if we raise Tom Landry from the dead. Fine with keeping big Mike.

It really comes down to the fact that what the fans want is an actual GM. Since that will never happen, the head coach will always be the scapegoat for the fan base. It can be argued that time will show that Jerry Jones. Went from being the best thing to happen to the Dallas Cowboys to being the worst thing to happen to the Dallas Cowboys…

Will stop being a fan if he brings them back . Been a diehard fan for 50 years the most frustrated And no hope for the future ever !

What team wins without a GM?

Pretty sure a GM would be trying to figure out who our new coach would be.

GM Jerry is waiting for the phone to ring? But he is never at his desk to answer it.

If he cared about the fans he would get a new GM

What can he possibly sell either way? 1. How is anyone still buying what he has to say? I don't care who the coach is at this point and 2. How do you make a move to a completely new coaching staff and still do nothing in the offseason? Jerry and his kid are morons, now you're worried about the fans? Just more lip service from a guy with zero accountability. You could always host another crap boxing match to make up for it.
JJ look for new was to sell tickets. Note "sale MM to fans". This guy is not in it to win a SB. For about 30 years this guy has FAILED.

Pure fiction . Jerry will do whatever he wants in discussions with the son . Selling “ the fan “ on the MM idea means nothing . This is the kind of situation let’s say for example they are playing Chicago .

Half the stands will be Bears fans who will gladly buy tickets for a weekend in Arlington and park the rental car from DFW at the Art gallery on Sunday guzzle the beer eat the brisket . Stands will fill people will watch on TV , simple . And I saw another thread rumor MM going to Chicago . Laughable

This winning streak is exactly what Jerry needed to sell the fans on MM coming back.

I would say it’s 80/20 MM comes back now.

He owns the team doesn’t have to sell anything to the fans . Kept JG well past a thinking fan thought was bright .
