He can’t sell it to the fans, but he’s definitely not worried about it, he has never and will never care one bit about what fans think.

Yes it's Fish, I know a lot of you don't care for him that much, I just like to hear this insight

That's the problem...JJ is more worried about what the fans will buy into than what will best for building a winning team.

Jerry can't sell Dak returning to the fans, and it's going to destroy America's Team, once and for all.

As a general manager, if u are basing your decisions on what the fans will think, that tells you everything u need to know about him and this organization.

Jerry is more worried about the possibility of losing revenue due to lack of interest than he actually is in putting this team in the best possible position to succeed (which should start with hiring a real GM).

Jerry is the ultimate salesman. He would have an easier time running a greased spoon up a pigs but. Then running the idea of McCarthy returning to the Cowboys fan base.

Without a franchise QB who can win games in crunch time it doesn't matter if we raise Tom Landry from the dead. Fine with keeping big Mike.

It really comes down to the fact that what the fans want is an actual GM. Since that will never happen, the head coach will always be the scapegoat for the fan base. It can be argued that time will show that Jerry Jones. Went from being the best thing to happen to the Dallas Cowboys to being the worst thing to happen to the Dallas Cowboys…

What team wins without a GM?

Pretty sure a GM would be trying to figure out who our new coach would be.

GM Jerry is waiting for the phone to ring? But he is never at his desk to answer it.
