Ezekiel Elliott’s agent, Rocky Arceneaux, said a deal between his client and the Cowboys is, “very close,” upon arriving back in the country from Cabo.“I think Zeke is showing he’s committed by coming back to Dallas We didn’t come here not to do a deal,” Arceneaux told reporters at DFW International Airport, adding, “We’re talking. They’re committed and we’re committed. That’s why we are here.” He also said Elliott is in shape to play Sunday if there is a contract.

According to the DMN's David Moore about an hour ago, the Zeke deal is NOT quite done as previously reported. He still feels optimistic though. :cool:

Zeke's agent said they are close and they are in Dallas to close the deal.
 
Once he signs... the new media narrative will be how the FO overpays greedy, troubled players and is willing to forgo good business sense (see New England Patriots as exhibit A) in an “Al Davis-esque” attempt to win now at all costs
