In the 80's, Nebraska and Osborne dropped bowl games left and right. Then, they reeled off 3 national titles.

Nebraska always had a strong defense too. AKA the black shirts.

Plus in the 80's it was even more biased as to who got to play for a National title than it is now.

"#1 " didn't always get to play "#2 " either.

I love old Nebraska football. When they hired Bill Callahan I lost a lot of my passion for College Football including my favorite team.

Funny to me how OU seems to hang there hate on two things of late. One is that they seem to get beat in bowl games and the other is that they always seem to get picked to go to BCS games but also always seem to lose to Texas. 3 of the last 4 years now, I think. I too find the humor in it.

Don't reverse the obvious one-sided issue at hand. I haven't seen one OU fan on here not give props to Texas and their talent. On the other hand, you and Tweedle-Dee have nothing but disparaging remarks towards the entire OU franchise. You will notice that other fans who root for the Horns are actually cool people that love the game of football and I don't take up any issue with them.

Remember that bitterness does more to the object it is stored in than the object it is poured on.

I'm a big Longhorns fan and will be pulling for the Big 12 OU Sooners. No doubt OU is pretty much a hated rival but in the end I want the Big 12 to show the nation that we are a top flight conference. I wish the best of luck to the sooner and their fans.

I don't begrudge anyone Texas had the opportunity to close out TT and did not do it but it does not change the fact that on a neutral site Texas went out and beat OU no home field advantage to either team. What the outside forces do is something Texas can't do anything about that.

Unlike ABQ, I do accept it and begrudge no one I think the only way to avoid these types of debates is through a playoff system without that these types of debates will always be out there.
