Jaylon Smith with an 80 percent regenerated left knee is still better than any other option the Cowboys have.

I'm still super-excited about this kid.
If this is true...this season is over before it even starts....for a myriad of reasons.

It's amazing how many people quickly become medical experts when they decide to enter the Jaylon Smith ratings! ;)

EMG = some reposition of Mengele's initials. That's who it feels like is administering the test, especially when they are measuring facial nerves, like around your eyes.

I am 80% sure that 90% of the media will run with any number that 50% of the cowboys staff throws out there just to shut them up

I typed my thoughts wrong. I meant to say Smith is better than any other options at "mike" linebacker (Hitchens, Nzeocha, the rookie free agents). In no way do I think he's better than Sean Lee.

Even after one final pre-training-camp test of the leg showed the knee was fully healed and the nerve 80 percent regenerated—according to one club source

One final pre-practice note: Six weeks ago, in a Dallas minicamp....he ran at maybe 70 percent
From 70% to 80% in 6 weeks.

Yea he is playing this year.

And I will still say that if someone who has tackled someone in almost 2 years...has never made a tackle at the NFL level...is only 80% healthy....with all of this...if he is STILL better than what we got...then we got a problem.
