Romo is already 28 years old and doesnt have the time like Peyton did. We have a team that is to WIN NOW.

A few points ... Peyton started out of the gate and understandably had a few un-Manning like seasons before getting going. But he did have that playoff bugaboo early in his career, but eventually learned how to play winning football in the playoffs.

That's the key for Romo. He's not perpetually doomed by the nightmares of a dropped hold in Seattle. And it's not as if he loses every big game he's played in or sucks in the fourth quarter. Not at all. He just hasn't progressed to the point yet where he knows how to play consistently winning football this time of year. It's a hurdle, I believe, that can be overcome. It would help if he had some decent coaches holding him accountable and trying to help him progress to that next level.

He needs to learn that you can wing that football around a lot easier in September than you can December, and that when the deep throws aren't always there other alternatives are available. Sticking in a tape of Troy Aikman wouldn't be a bad thing. Romo needs to learn how to win when he's throwing for 350 yards -- which he already can -- AND how to win when the offense is stuck in the mud, every possession is valuable and he needs to be careful with the football and engineer lengthy drives. More often than not, that's the type of football that wins playoff games, not just chucking it all over the place.

Peyton actually won his 2nd and 3rd playoff games so he didnt really have the "bugaboo." It seemed like he did because everyone was waiting for him to win a SB.
