He ran 4.35 at USC proday, looked extremely quick.

The one type of WR they Cowboys don't really have is a true burner. There is a place for a burner even if he is just an OK receiver. Somebody still has to cover him and that will at times draw coverage from the faster CB.

Oh no.....they guaranteed him money...... Now everyone will act like he is going to be a starter automatically like they do Ryan Williams.
Looks like the Front Office is sending Dez and Roc Nation a message...haha..

LOL, sending Dez a message by giving a UDFA 55,000. Yeah the message is watch out this guy is coming for your spot. And then the entire NFL and training staff in dallas falls down laughing. This guy cant carry Dez's pads. And no that isnt a RW11 joke lol

I see it as McClay likes athletes and this guy is one. Injuries derailed his college career.

Before USC, George Farmer played on the same high school team as Robert Woods and Marqise Lee at Serra High in Gardena, California and he was WITHOUT QUESTION the best player on that team.

He was hit with injuries as soon as he got to USC and never really got a full season until last year. He's got all the physical tools you want. I think he will be a steal.

Paul Richardson was also on that team. His HS coach said Farmer was the best of all of them. We will see if he can ever live up to his HS pedigree.

no highlights?

As mentioned before he didn't see a lot of time on the field because of his injury history. His one big game came against Notre Dame this year when he smoked them.

There were a lot of people questioning why he would leave after finally getting healthy and having a bit of success, especially as he could have been The Man with Agholor leaving.

Farmer was a 5-star recruit out of Serra HS. He was widely considered the top prospect on a Serra team that also had Robert Woods, Marqise Lee, and Paul Richardson. Farmer also finished second in the California state finals with a 10.40 in the 100. His dad played with the Rams.

As far as what happened at USC, it was some politics and bad breaks. Kiffin kept changing him from WR to RB and back. I get what Kiffin was doing, Farmer is crazy fast and he had Robert Woods and Marqise Lee putting up great numbers at WR. Still, George has never played RB. He turned his ankle late in the season and missed the rest of the season. He was still behind Woods and Lee the next year and got hurt again.

He was having a great spring before 2013 but then jacked up his left knee and missed the whole season. As for last year, I felt he looked like the 5-star prospect he was supposed to be, when given the chance. He looked explosive and showed to have difference making speed. The problem at USC is we are littered with talented WR's. Nelson Agholar was rightfully so the #1 target. Another former highly recruited WR Darreus Rogers had bulked up and was supposed to be the possession guy. Sarkissian also wanted to get his 5-star recruits, JuJu Smith and Adoree Jackson, touches as well. When it all played out, Agholar and JuJu were the main guys with George being the 3rd guy.

Supposedly, George Sr. was not happy with Sarkissian and felt Farmer would get pushed aside in 2015 for players Sarkissian recruited. As a Trojan fan, I really wanted to see Farmer back. As a Cowboy fan, I'm thrilled to see him here.

Looks like the Cowboys expected they could find Harris's replacement via UDFA. Signed 4 of the top UDFA receivers. Gotta admit, they've done really well with UDFA recievers: Miles Austin, Cole Beasely, Dwayne Harris.

Harris was a 6th round draft choice out of ECU.
