PFT implies Watson punishment should be no more than Jerry, Kraft or Sydner

IM against people that want anyone punished with LIMITED knowledge of whats happening. Most in here continually spout off how 20 plus woman have accused him, yet they havent a clue that the NFL is ONLY using 5 of the woman's claims. I just linked to an article that basically says one of the woman's own son was recorded saying his mom spoke highly of Watson after her sessions with him, then she changed her tune when it looked like a payday was out there. She is NOT one of the women the NFL is leaning on for evidence... I wonder why.

I dont spend HOURS a day. I like cases that deal with legal proceedings. I pop in and out as the day goes along. I dont really have much interest in discussing if the Cowboys 6th rd pick is going to be a HOF O lineman if he is coached up.

If you say you want Watson punished, fine. I just wish you would point to actual factual evidence that is being presented against him in this arbitration hearing as a basis for your opinion. MOst do not, they say well,... this many woman accusing him... there must be something to it, so off with his head!

I dont defend WATSON, I speak to what is a weak case from what I have seen. And Im curious if you have children? My kids are 34, 30, 22 and 20 years old. You think that They dont know me and how I think? You keep saying show them this thread to me and others...... like Im afraid or that my kids somehow dont know me and I would shock them.


Lets be clear about a couple things... so lets put this to bed.

If..... IF Watson masturbated in front of an unwilling woman, he should get a year minimum.
If Watson Groped any of the woman when they were clearly not having any of it... suspension minimum 6 games depending on the extent of what he did.
No man should ever do things sexually to make any woman feel less then or uncomfortable. My youngest is a doll and works in a restaurant while in college where she gets hit on often. If any man ever touches her or crosses the line( ok here is where the legal mumbo jumbo so many of you despise comes into play.... the line is very ambiguous) I would be down there raising hell to the owner about making sure that crap never happens again and Id expect my daughter to call the cops if a man grabbed her sexually. Can I be much more clear here????

I don't see it that way. His approach is more based on the legality of the situation, and the rules put forth by the league in regard to Watson's actions. Like when I said that Houston won't be legally responsible for anything. People got mad at that. What are they getting mad at me for? I couldn't give a crap about Houston, just giving my opinion based on the situation in regard to the law. Your ire is better suited for the systems in place, but I understand it's easier to focus it on someone you can actually talk to.

The comment you quoted from me was in response to an exchange you had with Reid1boys, not kskboys. I also had a back and forth with him several pages ago. I don't think we agreed on everything, but I don't remember it degrading into something less that civil.

I initially thought Watson was going to get a long suspension. But after some time listening to others, (not just in here) I'm not so sure of that now. My opinion of Watson hasn't changed. Just my opinion of what he's likely to get.

I don't know what he's paying out to these women, but the most he'll lose from a suspension is 1M. As for the four remaining cases, that's up to the civil court, how much could he possibly lose? Then punitive damages in the state of Texas is capped around 200k.

As far as his suspension goes, look for a precedent. In other words, misconduct that falls short of assault. I think Winston got 3-4 games for touching an Uber driver.

The accusation by any one woman may be taken with a grain of salt. But, that was enough to get Zeke 6 games. Watson has been accused by 24 women (!!!!) .......... and paid 20 of them to go away. Thats not a weak case at all particularly by the NFL's lower bar of guilt.

Where are you getting 5 and why are you defending this dirtbag? He has 24 accusations against him. He's paid off 20. The NFL has interviewed 11, and they also some pretty damming text messages.

Do they need to interview all 24 to somehow validate whatever heck point you are trying to make?
