Jerry runs about with his country colloquialisms and witticisms, deflecting criticicm to others that is and always will be squarely in his lap. He's tried to "BR549" his way through it, but nobody's buying Junior Sample's used cars.

There is no justified blame anywhere that remotely compares to the giant steaming pile of sewage he's poured over this organization for 20 years. Jason Garrett is tasked to navigate an aircraft carrier with a pole and bed sheets for sails, and he's done remarkably well.

Yes, they should have one a game or two during Romo's absence. In fact, they should have appeared in an NFC Championship game or five in the past 20 years, but Jerry has caddywonked his way from that happening.

The 'Garrett as a martyr' narrative.

First, we had the Garrett is the second coming narrative, then we had the Garrett needs to uproot Wade's loser culture narrative, then the Garrett needs talent to be the second coming narrative, then the Garrett is the savior narrative, and now finally, Garrett is a martyr.

One for each season he fails at giving the team some kind of competitive, emotional, or tactical advantage

Poor Garrett, he will never win working for Jerry and his caddywonks...He should just quit and work for a real organization.

Complain all you want about Jerry but he put a team on the field this year that you yourself thought was clearly the most talented in the division and a legit SB contender.

And they couldn't win just one stinking game over a 7 game stretch with no Romo. So either you completely and utterly overestimated the talent on this team or Garrett is just a mediocre coach. Because if this team is as talented as you claimed, they should have been able to to win a couple of games without Romo but didn't and that FALLS SQUARELY on this coaching staff.

Throw in a resume of sheer mediocrity and it's obvious to anyone who is really looking hard that while Jerry has his faults, one of his biggest might be thinking Garrett is better than he really is.

The only thing I blame Jerry for is hiring Garrett.

Jerry and McClay have put together a very good team that also happens to have a franchise QB.

Stop blaming Jerry for Garretts shortcomings. Jerry and McClay have done their part.

Kind of hard to "Coach up a reject QB from the Browns". Jerry should have a talk with the GM about singing off on that decision.

When you have a team as talented as some around here were saying in the preseason, that team, with competent coaching should be able to squeeze out a win or two over a 7 game stretch even with a below average QB. The fact we went 0-7 without Romo is an indictment in one of two areas:

1) People overrated just how talented this team was top to bottom

or

2) People overrated how mediocre Garrett and this staff is.

Weeden was put in a position to fail.

Us not winning a game is not 100% on him.

The coaches made us the most predictable we have ever been with him as our QB.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones does not seem impressed with the job done by coach Jason Garrett this season. Jones says he thought the coaching staff could have done a better job of succeeding despite the injury to Tony Romo, and he’s disappointed that it wasn’t until Monday night in Washington that they managed to win…http://youwillnotrackme2.net/b.gif?host=profootballtalk.nbcsports.com&blog=&post=2367621&subd=nbcprofootballtalk&ref=&feed=1

sounds like Jerry is trying to set things up, if garrett doesn't do well the rest of the way. they maybe a parting of ways.

The first step at making a run for Sean Payton.

Payton's had a first ballet HOF qb and has one superbowl that he got lucky in winning. I guess I'm just not as enamored with him as many are. And to quote the Mickster, if he.s so great......

What?? There offense has never been the issue. He runs his version or our offense, but is creative. He uses all his weapons and is a master playcaller. Escobar, Hannah, Beas would all be involved.

He's a diciple of Parcells as well and the Jones family loves this guy.

This is a win win. Fire the offensive staff, and keep Rod. SB next year with health.
