I don't know that Goff is the BPA at #4 if he's there. So no thanks.

Give me the Seahawks model. Grab a guy in the early second. The Seahawks and Vikings (late first round for Bridgewater) have had some success. If we can grab a decent quarterback prospect and the BPA in the first round, that's the move that gets you closer to winning Super Bowls.

Agreed. There is no sure fire winner at QB this year. There are prospects who will be at the bottom of the first at best and later who can play. Pocket passers are still who people tout and I'd still look there first but I also like the QB who can play well in the pocket but can make plays downfield and with his legs. There are more and more of those guys available to chose from.

Based on that senior bowl performance of 16 pts, I'm not sure it'd be in our best interest to draft a qb with th. They'd probably end up with Weeden or Cassell like performances here. I'd rather go defense in the first.

If there's a QB at #4 who has an "Aikman-aura" about him, then fine. Pull the trigger. But I don't think any of the guys who could be there at #4 have sufficiently proven to be "franchise" QB's at this point. Maybe they will between now and the end of April. But it bothers me that for much of the 2015 college season, they weren't even considered to be worth drafting early in the 1st round.

Aikman
He finished 1989 with an 0–11
Aikman led the Cowboys to a 7–7 record in the 1990 season

what a AURA

Selecting Wentz with their first selection next April could be the smartest thing Jones has ever done since making his first ever draft selection in Troy Aikman back in 1989. This move could end up backfiring, as it could with any other player at any other position, let alone another passer.

Wentz is not a polished product as far as being ready to start in the NFL right away.

Was Aikman ready for this during his rookie season?

No.

Peyton Manning of the AFC Champion Denver Broncos wasn’t ready either back when he entered the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts in 1998.

No. 3–13 record

Im gonna say this and i could be wrong but i dont think i am. Hackenberg is going to be the best QB from this group. The guy was surrounded by garbage and forced to play in a scheme that the team wasnt built for. He's played in a prostyle offense and lit it up. O'brian left and they went to a spread with no OL and no WRs. Hackenberg nasically had a player in his face while he was finishing his drop back alot of the time. I would pick hackenberg at 34.

ROFLMAO
