If they're not going to use him like any smart team would use their #1 WR after giving them a huge payday, then they should have let him walk. Jerry should force Garrett to study how other teams are getting the ball to their high priced WRs and tell him to incorporate what he finds instead of having Dez run antiquated, easy to cover routes. They way Dez is being used would be reason #1 for me to send Garrett packing. You can't have a talent like that, pay him that much money, and then let him be shutdown week after week because your offense is predictable and was figured out 15 years ago.

If I could, I would give you a 100 likes for this post....it was spot on.

Yawn. Any half decent corner can shut down an all pro receiver in this crappy scheme.

Notice how Dez and Williams were getting open when the coaching idiots finally decided to run some slants instead of ten second routes down the field when the game was over at the start of, and in the second half.

Agree. Green Bay, Denver, and especially the Pats get guys open quickly. They don't have a 90's mentality on long routes , until they have drawn the D in to covering the short stuff...

**** no he's not.

Brown is better, Calvin is still better, and Julio is def better.

I think it's this team though, I believe the pats or Greenbay, or even the giants, would use him better.

He would flourish.

The fact he's an idiot, on an idiot team, that does not know how to use WR's. It's a bad match

Couldn't agree more. Talent wise, he's up there with those 3, but he doesn't have the same mentality as those players. He can be taken out of the game too easily. I don't believe he'll ever live up to his potential in a Dallas uniform which is a shame.

Add another 100 from me.. :):) Julio Jones comes to mind immediately. Think our game against them when JJ comes across the back of the formation....

Whats his beef with Dez? is there bad blood there?

I don't believe there is. I think this guy is just a player that is suddenly getting more attention than he deserves because his team is 11-0 and his defense leads the league in sacks. So he is trying to create headlines because he probably grew up idolizing shameless self promoters like Dion Sanders and recently Sherman.

Just another classless big mouth defensive back.

Players all talk on the field. It's the insecure classless ones that feel the need to talk trash off the field.

Cam was classless last night in victory too. It's how they roll. It will return to them eventually.

Talks of cutting Romo are ridiculous.

However, if there is a team out there who would give us two No.1 picks for him, I'd take it and not look back. Not that I don't like Romo, but I don't think the scheme is ever going to change with him here. This will continue to be a Romo-friendly offense as long as Romo remains.

Besides, he's getting older. He probably has two strong years left, assuming we pick up a back who can carry the load, ala, Terrell Davis.

It's really time to start rebuilding and preparing for life without Romo because when older quarterbacks start to get injured, those injuries start coming in droves.

Norman and Newton fought in preseason. Things are rosy for them now but somewhere down the road their character will be revealed again.

How do you think Dez is going to react if a Rookie QB starts NOT throwing the ball to him next year...

Like others have said, we need to use Dez in a much different capacity. Feed him like Pitt feeds Antonio Brown, and ATL with Julio Jones. Garrett or whoever the hell needs to study how these top receivers are getting the ball. Dez is as talented as any of them... it's simply a matter of improper usage most of the time when Dez gets "shut down". But gotta give some credit to the Norman kid. He's a baller.

He said that Dez was talking crap about him to his Panther teammates Pre game. I believe him too because Dez has been running his mouth all year.

Maybe Dez said something pre-game on the field, but most of the quotes about this Panther game was coming from Norman. Find a quote where Dez said anything disrespectful before the game started. Having said that I don't mind Dez chirping. Just gotta back it up. But let's not act like Dez was going WWE to the media about how he was going to roll on Norman. That wouldn't be true.
