While I would not want to see him cut now I will say another infraction and I think it becomes a must. Players missing 4 or more games because they are too stupid does nothing to help this team out.

Absolutely. He's out of chances now.

exactly wasted 2nd round pick whos going to miss 4 games because he cant stop smoking weed. he clearly doesn't give a crap. plenty of players have upside, there have been a lot who just cant get it together either and im afraid he is one of him.

He let himself down but more importantly he lets the team down. Cowboys knew of his history but gave him a chance and he failed them. I hope he can get his life turned around but based on his past it does not look good.

because he's on the team because of he's draft status! that's all! upside we aren't going to see for atleast 4 games this year.. awesome.. by that time he will probably fail more drug tests..he couldn't be trusted in college and cant be trusted now.. writing is on the wall.

I give up.

You saw a ranking? lol
So this "one ranking" Had a guy who started 2-3 games tops rated ahead of the guy who BEAT him out of his starting position on his own team?
Are you serious or just trying to troll. I really cant tell.

Leary got hurt. Look, you have already gotten roasted on this subject. If you have nothing showing his big impact, just bow out. Show me guard rankings that disagree with my post about him being the weak link on the line. Put up or shut up.

My original post mentioned the 3 rookies as not making an impact. Anything to say about the other two or just Leary?

Nothing?..........................

Thanks for the morning laugh.

Facts are stubborn things.

1. Dallas Cowboys (1st)
Pass-blocking rank: 1st

Run-blocking rank: 1st

Penalties rank: 32nd

Stud: With studs at three spots on the line, it was hard picking a No. 1 guy. But left tackle Tyron Smith, our second-ranked lineman on the year, is that guy, with a tremendous season that has become the norm for him.

Dud: He was far from disappointing, but rookie La’el Collins was the weakest link on this line, simply by not being as good as the other guys on it.

Summary: That’s two years in a row atop our rankings for the Cowboys, who have reaped the rewards on their heavy investment in talent with first-round picks. All three of their former top picks graded in the top three at their respective positions, and even the less-heralded members were hardly poor. The Cowboys are our top offensive line for the second year in a row, and the truth is, it wasn’t even close.

Dumb fans do nothing but sit around a burn barrel and whine...when redeveloping is just getting started; a combine that kicks off Friday; and Free Agency in two weeks.

Talk about poor representation, and their side is all volunteer.

So what if they don't like some of the changes...but change is coming, no, not all of that is dumb or will be bad.

Reading your posts is like trying to figure out what my predessor, Gimme -- poor, dumb and barefoot -- was writing. Oh, I rue the day he returns from rehab with a vengeance, knives to sharpen and his dogs running all over the neighborhood!

you get high because you want to. there are a lot of ways to deal with stress and anxiety - something like this is just a bad way to do it.

Cooking is a great way to rid anxiety.

Oh, already i see your eyes bugging out.
I meant cooking food, not that other stuff, Slushy.

I'm not going to derail this thread any further. You've been corrected at least twice now on this subject and I really don't care to keep playing the cat and mouse game. Anything I Show you as "having an impact" you're just going to act as if it doesn't register in your eyes.
I'll just let Mr Collins speak for himself.

It's pretty obvious we are talking about two different things. If you read the discussion I was having, it was how people complain about drafting a QB because he wouldnt make much of an impact for a few years riding the bench. We then went on to point out how even having 3 first round ranked rookies last year and none of them made a major impact. Most rookies do not. Starting and making a few pancake blocks is not what I am talking about. If you think that is a big impact, then that is up to you. Nothing to do with what I am talking about. He started because of injury and played solid for a rookie. No doubt he will be an impact type player in the future. But like the facts pointed out, he was the weak link on the line.

Gregory made absolutely no impact what so ever.

Jones, was also another solid rookie. But picks, sacks? Not many. He will make more of an impact going forward.

He's disappointed because yet another chance they took in the draft either on a troubled player or injury prone player is going to flop.

"Yep...................3 rookies and none of them did much. Just look at he results. Now I do very much like the guard and the safety should be a solid player. But they wont start making any kind of real impact until possibly the 2nd half of this year."

Actually that's not what you said, as those are your exact quotes right above. So for the 3rd time you've been corrected. Maybe just maybe you might want to backtrack.

You said none of them did much. Well starting in the NFL as rookie and making a bunch of NFL all rookie teams is pretty good. I would also consider that making a impact of some kind to the team.

LOL.............No, you havent corrected me once. And like I said, your low standards hav nothing to do with what I am talking about. Starting is not making an impact for me. Starting for a 4-12 team and being the weakest link on the line is not a big enough impact.

Starting at getting zero picks and zero sacks is not the kind of impact I am talking about. If all you have to do is start to make and impact then there are 22 impact starters on every team in the NFL.

Does that make it a little more clear how ridiculous you sound?

Zach Martin=2nd ranked guard his rookie year, started all 16 games, made the pro bowl= making a big impact
Lael Collins=low ranked guard, started 12 games, considered weakest link on the line.=low impact

Kabeesh?

You just have low standards. No biggie, lets move on.

"making a impact of some kind to the team."

This is where you show your true colors. "of some kind"

Yah, of SOME kind. Not the kind of impact either me or the other poster were talking about. If you confused yourself, no problem. I have now corrected you over and over again in what I meant. NOT what you thought I meant.

Lael Collins=low ranked guard, started 12 games, considered weakest link on the line.=low impact
