I respectfully disagree. A 1 career start qb compared to a 7 year veteran is a huge drop off in many aspects

and I don’t have to impugn Phill Simms to disagree with him

I have a feeling Rush is going to play outstanding football tomorrow or look like Brandon Weeden. My money is on Brandon weeden

logic says you could be right

The 1 game that Rush did start, the rest of the team played lights out to compensate for his inexperience. I believe that even special teams may have scored a td in that game vs the Vikings?

bottom line is that he has to throw very high percentage passes and without success at rushing the ball, he’s gonna be in for a long day

defense and special teams are gonna have to have a big day

We can all agree Dak was awful his last two starts and I am concerned. I have noticed he can’t make certain throws and defenses are giving him those passes. Dak also is a limited runner. I think he throws the ball better then he runs. He appears to have regressed as a passer.
So, from what you said Dak has regressed as a passer and runner. I know injuries play a part in all this amongst other factors, but has Dak peaked already...are we witnessing his regression as a QB overall???

This should've been the gameplan with a healthy Dak.

Dak's QB rating was like 46 against TB. Yep, under Phils logic Rush could have a rating of 40 and be just under Dak as far a drop off is concerned.

You need to stick to playing dress up like a 5 year old

Your "stat" is unfair

Will do!!!

Uhhh. Actually, what are you talking about? Seems like a strangely specific request.

Cooper Rush could be the spark we've been looking for.
Dak is holding this team back since the calf injury mid-season last year,

He's terrible

Dak isn't regressing. Dak and the Cowboys have trouble against better opponents. But I did expect better for a week 1 game. We're missing some major pieces on offense and it showed.

Dak can be really good, but he isn't "special " .....I just don't like crapping on players or coaches, because I know how hard they work. I hope Rush steps up and does a great job....next man up!

I don’t know if he’s special or not but I do know throughout his career he’s had some special moments. Including last year against the Pats.

TB 3 points (Dallas losing 19-3 to start the 4th quarter)
SF 17 points (Dallas losing 23-7 to start the 4th quarter)
LV 33 points (Dallas losing 27-19 to start the 4th quarter)
ARI 22 points (Dallas losing 22-7 to start the 4th quarter)
KC 9 points (Dallas losing 19-6 to start the 4th quarter)

Dak in those games: 121 of 200 60.5% Comp % 1,205 yards 6 td's 4 int's

The Dak led offense was behind by an average of 13.6 points to start the 4th quarter in those 5 games referenced. This has become a trend with Dak where he does nothing for 3 quarters before starting to rack up stats and make games closer than what they really were/are.
Uhhh, it's not only Dak. It's the whole Offense. Why? BECAUSE OF THE OLINE.

Fix the Oline, and we will see Dak, Zeke and everyone else on Offense play much better.

I think Dak is who he is. An average quarterback that won’t get any better because he is a limited passer. The Cowboys paid an average quarterback franchise money. Big mistake.
