It seems like Phillips wants to be a football player while Bennett wants to be a celebrity. As of now I would go with Phillips, but if Bennett can get his stuff together then I would go with him.

Bennett has much more physical ability, but I doubt his motivation to be great. Because of this I go with Phillips.

Phillips should be the guy. I can live with rare special teams penalties - I cant live with consistent drive stopping drops, missed blocks, mental errors, and penalties.

Bennetts UPSIDE is 1million times HIGHER than Phillips, the question asked who I WANT to be the 2nd TE. If Bennett is the 2nd TE through and through, it will mean he is at least coming close to tapping into his potential.

HOWEVER, if Bennett keeps on keeping on and Phillips continues to improve, then Phillips deserves it. But I WANT Bennett to emerge..

Bennett reminds me of Antonio Bryant....I think he will be a good TE in the league but unfortunately, it will be a few years down the road for another team.

He doesn't have the baggage that Bryant had but he is similar in that he is not mature enough at present.

I see more upside in Phillips, he reminds me of Witten, a Hall of Fame TE.

Bennett reminds me of T.O the TE, never been a successful one before.

Phillips is probably the better player right now and seems to show better focus during the game.

Bennett is more phsyically gifted as both a blocker and as a receiver but seems to be unable to catch the ball during games.

I would suggest Bennett put down the video camera and his Iphone and start working with Roy with the JUGGS machine on his hands and coach Garrett on his routes.

Right now, I'd rather have Phillips on the field because he is more likely to execute his assignment properly and can be relied upon as a safety valve for Romo.

I've despised Marty B since he began opening his mouth as a done nothing frik'n rookie. That being said, I think that he has more upside than Phillips given his athleticism, but I wished to hell that we had traded him when we had the chance.

All we were offered was an on-the-wagon thug and a late 4th rounder. MartyB is worth that for his blocking alone. Our 2 TE set has been very effective even though he hasn't been much of a threat catching the ball.

I really do hope he dedicates himself more to the game and works in the offseason with Romo and Witten to take his game to the next level. He needs to learn how to be a professional.

Definitely Phillips. I don't care about potentials and upsides, I want a guy who will produce on the field, which Phillips does, unlike Bennett.

I've been a big fan of Bennett, but had an awful game on Sunday. He seems to not be progressing much....sucks b/c having quality depth behind Witten, especially w/ 2 good TE's helps A LOT.

MartyB might eventually be the player we saw in the preseason, but he isn't right now, while Phillips is playing his role very well.

But what I want is Phillips in the game at fullback. He's showing himself to be a very good lead blocker (which Cricket is too), but also an effective weapon in the run game.

Then bring Bennett in as the third TE.
