draft Gurley or Gordon if there. One of them should be there.

IF both are available who would you draft and why,

They are saying Gurley has close to AP type talent but he is coming off a torn ACL. IF he is there at 27 do you take him?

I agree with Sturm here. You absolutely take Gurley at 27 (barring some higher rated player falling). I'd love for a top pass rusher to fall but not likely.

If Gurley wasn't coming off a torn ACL, I would for sure take him first round. But now I think it's debatable and you can't go wrong with him or Gordon. It'll just come down to who they have higher on their draft board. I think the draft will be a failure if you don't end up with either Gurley, Gordon, Ajayi, or Coleman.

I want defense, but that late pick i will take Gordon or the dude from Boise. I would take Gurley but I don't want him in the tub to start.

And what about this terrible defense? some of you guys just don't get it. the cowboys are not a championship with this defense.

The best way to help a defense is keeping it off the field.
We absolutely MUST keep pounding the ball on offense.
Ill take the elite running back over the defensive scraps that will be left on the board at 27.

I agree, but we both know that a good ground game that can move the sticks and chew clock will help this defense too.

I am beginning to think, this is the only thing that makes sense?

I dont think we get Hardy.

Were going to have to Pay AP, but i think JJ will do it.....Were going to pay him more then Murray. Or right about the same...Maybe we can get some relief on the back end of the contract and in guaranteed money?? Because he is older then Murray.....

I really, really hope that is the case. And I still want to draft a back, 2-4th rounds....

At this point, trade up for Gurley if we dont fill that hole. IMO

See, this is the kind of utter nonsense that I'm talking about. Give up desperately needed draft picks to trade up for a completely unproven RB coming off a torn ACL, when we had the NUMBER ONE RB in the league and what should have been a clear defensive focus in the draft. What the heck kind of sense does that make?!
