I like Takk,he is raw but relentless player.it will be depressing to me if we pick a essential red shirt player with our first pick.he wont even be ready to practice till September and they are probably going to PUP him.

I'd be surprised if they PUP'd him. Even at the "worst case" recovery length, he should be ready for the regular season. Might as well roll with him and let him learn.

We should just turn this into the draft chatter thread. We need one anyway.

Cowboys "set up something" with CB Shaquill Griffin - Connor Orrr, NFL.com
Griffin turned heads with his stand-out Combine performance, and even the Cowboys have taken notice.

He is a 6-foot tall defensive back from the University of Central Florida who logged the fourth-fastest 40-yard dash (4.38 seconds), the third-best vertical jump (38.5 inches) and the second-best broad jump (11 feet) in his position group at the NFL Scouting Combine, despite not being included among the "first wave" of prospects invited.

But after his official combine numbers were posted, his calendar came to resemble that of your local CPA nearing the tax deadline. In the last week, he's already met with and worked out for the Titans. Dinner with the Lions and meetings with the Colts and 49ers were planned for Tuesday. The Cowboys called Monday to set something up. Nineteen teams, including the Dolphins and Patriots, are set to speak with him at UCF's pro day. He has visits lined up with the Seahawks and Steelers, among others, according to someone briefed on his itinerary.

Trying to find something remarkable about him but so far looks like UDFA material.

If they want a wr, I hope they choose one of Godwin, Hansen, Switzer, T.Taylor or Corey Davis.
Love the Jones kid but he goes early two and I don't think Dallas spends a number one on a WR.

Mike Williams is currently falling, might be too good to pass at 28. Goodwin is one of my favorite players in the draft, all he does is make plays against good competition.

Not that some of the others named don't impress, but I think that kid Hansen has something to him.
