and according to draftanalyst.com

3) Jordan Willis/DE/Kansas State: Teams love versatile athletes who can rush the passer. Willis proved he was the premiere athlete at the defensive end position during the combine when he timed 4.53s in the 40 and 6.85s in the short shuttle as well as touching 39 inches in the vertical jump after weighing in at 255 pounds. He then went on and showed his versatility at the Wildcats pro day, looking flawless in both defensive line and linebacker drills. I think it will be a stretch for Willis to end up in the late part of Round 1 but would expect him to be off the board during the top half of the second frame. Willis worked out for the Jacksonville Jaguars this week, will be working out for the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Bucs in the coming weeks and has a visit to Tampa Bay on his schedule. The Miami Dolphins and Dallas Cowboys are also showing a lot of interest in Willis.

Out of everyone in this draft, if there was one guy who I would feel comfortable saying, "Just go kill the QB", it would be this kid. He was unblockable in the National title game. I think he's the best pure pass rusher in the draft. I would be foaming at the mouth if he's there at 28.

If they want a wr, I hope they choose one of Godwin, Hansen, Switzer, T.Taylor or Corey Davis.
Mike Williams is currently falling, might be too good to pass at 28. Goodwin is one of my favorite players in the draft, all he does is make plays against good competition.

Agree, but I think they will pass on wr's regardless in round one.

Godwin is going to be a good player.

I like Takk,he is raw but relentless player.it will be depressing to me if we pick a essential red shirt player with our first pick.he wont even be ready to practice till September and they are probably going to PUP him.
I'd be surprised if they PUP'd him. Even at the "worst case" recovery length, he should be ready for the regular season. Might as well roll with him and let him learn.
He'll miss less time than Collins did

Former Gophers cornerback Jalen Myrick ran a blazing-fast 40-yard dash Monday morning at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

Myrick’s first 40 clocked at an official time of 4.28 seconds, the fastest defensive back time since Miami cornerback Demarcus Van Dyke ran the same time in 2011. Myrick’s second attempt was 4.32, which also beat the second-fastest time Monday by a defensive back, 4.35, run by UCLA cornerback Fabian Moreau.

Myrick was considered the fastest player in the Big Ten, and he proved it Monday, setting the conference record for the fastest 40 time, according to the Gophers. Myrick’s Gophers teammates have taken to Twitter for a while about how Myrick would impress in the sprint showcase. His times Monday certainly validate his speed and will help him during the NFL draft April 27-29.

Built like a FS or slot CB. I see he isnt much of a turnover creator either.

Does it seem to anyone else like theyre trying to figure out later round value?

Almost like they have a good idea of the direction they want to go with the premium picks. So far at least.

Bucknell offensive lineman Julien Davenport had a full workout with the New England Patriots today which included film and board work and was impressive. Davenport will be working out with the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans this week.
