why even waste emotion on that? You know and I know there is no way in hell the eagles lose to the panthers at home on national TV

One can dream. We got upset by the pathetic Skins with a backup QB. Don't get me wrong, I think Philly will win.. but man I hope not. Would be nice to catch a break.

Meh.

They were winning games without him and really not that impressive offensively with him. That defense is what's doing the job.

They lost a game without him as well and the games they won were against the Giants where they won on a punt return by Ted Ginn and 0 TD's thrown by Stanton and against the Niners where Stanton played better throwing a couple of TD's. The Cards knew Palmer would be back at some point and now knowing he won't be others will have to step up even more. Their defense. I'm still not particularly sold it like it is dominant and can't be score on. They have been very fortunate and lucky so far but that can only get you so far. We'll see what happens but i do think they start to slip a little bit and lose some games.

I don't know. Everybody seems to think NO is just gonna win the NFCs at 7-9 or so but if Carolina wins tonight they will be essentially tied with NO for 1st place in their division. I think they will play their best game tonight since they see an opportunity right in front of them

Correction, you HOPE they play their best game. My focus is on eagles vs packers, a team that should beat the **** out of the eagles

Yeah, I can't wait for that game. Come on Sunday. Eagles should be nice and beat up too. I just hope Carolina gets some lucky turnovers tonight and make the game interesting.

Carolina has a shot. They'll be putting heat on Sanchez and I'm curious to see how Philly's line will match up with Carolina's front four. I want to see how the loss of Demeco Ryans plays into tonight's game and others down the road.

Well yea I HOPE every team plays a great game against our rivals just like any other Cowboy fan would. But I'm not talking about the game tonight as a cowboy fan. I'm talking as a football fan with my personal opinion and from what I've seen in the past.

Furthermore, why is everybody acting like the eagles are some kinda world beaters? They are starting mark Sanchez tonight. Mark Sanchez. He threw two ints in their last game in which he didn't even play the entire game.

I also think that Monte Kiffin and Marinelli figured out chip Kelly's offense. We held them to 3 pts in Philadelphia last yr and the defense played great against them in Dallas last yr also

My $0.02 is that my ultimate preference is one where somehow the Eagles beat the Packers next week. I feel like the Cowboys will win the division no matter what so I personally would prefer the Cowboys not to face the Packers in the playoffs -- I don't love the matchup. A Eagles victory next week @ GB would go a long way towards making it tough for the Packers make it.

Packers still have to play Detroit, New England, and Buffalo -- none of them gimmes.

I feel like Cowboys - Packers would be a pick-em game (50/50) and on the other hand the Cowboys would be favored against the Eagles.

That's really thinking a bit too far ahead.

Maclin is a BEAST and that means the panthers will probably get smoked. That's why we should all focus on Next week

we still good, packers beat the eagles, and we are both 7-3 at the end of next week

Probably.

I personally believe the Cowboys would be favored against every other team in the NFC in the playoffs, especially with Carson Palmer out for AZ, however, the thought of playing the Packers and Aaron Rodgers without a real pass rush is terrifying.

Eagles only beat GB if they lose tonight

I hope they are not favored on Thanksgiving

It's ridiculous a 4-5 team can be ahead of us and others.

It's been that way for many years. It all depends on what division you play in. Besides, if you're good enough to win it all who cares about anything else.

He excels at the deep ball , something Foles is really good at . With Sanchez I think there's a drop off .

Dang man.. that is a interesting way to look at it. But all that would do is fuel the Eagles fire and make them feel unstoppable and give us more of a fight. After watching Green Bay the last several weeks, they are a very tough team. I see them beating both Buffalo and Detroit at home. New England will be a bloodbath. I think GB is going to win that division.
