With Palmer out for the year and Foles out for a significant amount of time, two of the top NFC teams have taken major hits, helping to pave our teams way not just through the playoffs, but to the Super Bowl.

We still want Arizona to win that division though. We also need San Francisco to turn things around.

I don't want Green Bay getting into the playoffs. The best case scenario for us would be for Philly to make it as the wild card and for San Fran to make it as the wild card knocking out both Seattle and Green Bay.

If Arizona slides though, it'll help open up home field advantage for us (though perhaps we're better off on the road...).

Right now, Detroit has to be the heavy favorite for home field advantage through the playoffs just because of their remaining schedule.

I get what you are saying but unfortunately I do not think those teams miss much without their starting QB´s. hope I´m wrong but Foles and Palmer ain´t all that.

Green Bay is making it, Rodgers is just playing lights out, I actually don´t want to see the niners get in.

The dropoff from Foles to Sanchez is minimal, it actually looked like Foles had regressed and Sanchez playing to prove he can start is formidable. He can drive the bus.

Palmer was similarly over-rated. Both the Eagles and Cardinals will still be tough with their backups, especially the Cards.

Told everyone to focus on next week when they play Green Bay. I didn't watch this game because I knew it would be a blowout

If they win next week I will start to be very concerned LOL I want to believe that the Packers will be ready and take them very seriously

I would too lol. The only positive take is it would help another WC team gain a loss.

That game will be big. It may be pivotal when it comes to head to head.

I don't expect the Eagles to see any dropoff from Foles to Sanchez, but I think the Cardinals will slide.

I just want to get in the dance. Don't even care about homefield advantage, not like we have one anyway. I'd almost rather go play in GB in a blizzard with the way we can run the ball versus letting Rodgers come into AT&T Stadium and fling the ball all over the place.

Various:
Currently Dallas would finish 5th and play the 4th seed scrub record Saints on the road.
I do NOT want to play on the road at NO or SEA or GB. Winning the division is VERY important.

QBs: What Sanchez and other back ups do in one game is meaningless. Watch them over the course of a month as defenses figure them out.

I am fine with each division getting a representative but they should NOT get automatic home field.
Seeds should be by record (then usual tie-breakers) after the field is set.

11-5 teams shouldn't be on the road versus 9-7 with the season on the line.

Next week is very nice because ARI plays DET and GB plays Sodom and Gomorroh.
Whichever two teams lose helps Dallas.

After that we can just take care of business and insure we get in as a division winner or hold on by the seat of our pants for a WC.

It's way too early for this type of talk.

Wanna bet ? I sure can´t see the future but I can very well guess, take a look at GB schedule and tell me if you think they’ll make it or not?

Home against Eagles, Patriots, Falcons and Lions.

Away against Vikings, Bills and Bucs.

They are 6-3 right now, they probably make it with 10 wins and by looking at the schedule I say they at least get to 11.

Yes I know, that´s why they play the games, but odds say they´ll make it.

I think they'll lose to New England , and at buffalo . Seattle owns the tie breaker over them and Detroit is on a roll . Just saying they aren't even close to being a shoe-in. It may come down to Seattle /Green Bay for that last wild card spot , and Seattle has that tie-breaker .

I think they win the división, the Lions are good but have been very lucky and they still have to go to Arizona, NE and GB.
Anyway, I hope you are right, anytime the best QB in the NFL (IMO) is out of the playoffs that´s a plus for our team, I´ll guess we´ll wait and see.

Injuries stink. I hate that teams' prospects rise and fall on people getting hurt late in the year.

I'd support a system that gives you salary cap relief when you IR guys. Say the remaining weeks of a player's base returned.
When a guy that is a 7-8m per year guy gets IR'd that stings like crazy.
Some additional cap room would at least level things out over time so it wasn't quite so fickle.
