Lol, any quarterback could have put up big numbers yesterday with this team. Dalton could have, too. Everybody does against Seattle these days.

That final drive was pathetic.
Yes but "any quarterback" does not win Games.... isn't that why we play....what is Dak's winning record again...

See how dumb your "any quarterback" comment appears.... we've seen many QBs put up Stats. DIFFERENCE....Dak wins more than most like Dalton (Burrow already making the Dalton era look like fools gold)

I agree the final drive was pathetic..Dak should do better.

Against good teams in meaningful games? It's terrible.

Dak threw three interceptions yesterday. One of them hit a cornerback in the hands while he was sitting on the ground. LOL, he knocked it up in the air and Gallup went for a big play.

Statistics are dumb.
Any time the QB had to throw the ball close to 50 times it is expected the chance of INTs goes up.
It was a needed unbalance because Zeke and Pollard must have had some time zone issues...they looked lost!!

This is the NFL, in Romo's greatest comeback he had 5 INTs it was actually 7 if you count the contest catches and near misses...

If you view this as some flaw in Dak's ability your hate is clouding your football IQ

He is?

If you haven't noticed, teams are going up and down the field every week on Atlanta and Seattle. The Seahawks have given up 1500 yards and 86 points in three weeks.

How do they play when it really matters? That's the one and only thing that should matter when it comes to paying elite money to any player.

Two minutes, three time outs, 75 yards. Checkdown, checkdown, checkdown, tick, tock, tick, tock..... The clock shouldn't have even been a factor there, but here he was, heaving it into a crowd with time expiring.

That ain't $40 million.

What would you do about the future of the QB position if you were in charge?

Yes the NFL started the cap when Prescott was 5 years old knowing that the Cowboys were going to draft him. The league decided that if nothing else we are going spoil Prescott's chances to win a Super Bowl.

I think Dak walks at the end of the year. He isn't the problem. In fact,he's been the solution. I see no way his agent lets him stay here. Only way is if we make an unforeseen SB run.

He's been the solution....? Solution to what, a team that doesnt get to the championship games?

This feels like 2009 all over again . Great QB that needs literally minimal help to go on a great run but yet gets all the hate and blame instead . I hate this fan base sometimes They come out of the woodwork whenever the team loses

You can't explain this to some fans, they're so clouded in their judgement and they also don't really understand the game of football. As you clearly said the more times you throw the ball the greater chance that turnovers will occur. There is reason most teams try to have a balance of run and pass, but once again some fans have a low football IQ. The simple truth is if this team had just a average NFL defense they would probably have a winning record.

Past Decade.....Well Dak has only played 4 seasons, 3 Games and 3 playoff games

Simple math that does not equal Dak having "best O-Lines in the past decade".
Infact 2016 is the last season Dak had 3 All Pro Players Tyron, Zack and Frederick.

Since 2016 Zack is the only All Pro Olineman once in 2018 and 2019.

Tyron and Frederick haven't been All Pro since 2016.

You can take that media hype myth and used it against some uniformed person.

This OLine has been a debacle since 2016.

They've been best on paper for the past 3 seasons.

Let's go through this slowly for you. Our O-Line that Dak has played behind has been one of the credited as being one of the best in the NFL counting all lines in the past 10 years.

You show the classic blinkered Dak fan mentality above by looking at individuals rather than units.

Either way, we wont have the spare CAP money to spend on improving that O-Line if we pay Dak $40m .... which is my whole point on not spending such money on a QB who just isnt a game changer.

it would be a disaster because jerry and stephen would keep investing every thing in offense to make sure it is “dak friendly” and so they dont lok stupid paying him and keep ignoring the defense.

i wish the cowboys would just blow it up and start over...this core just does not have it. whatever it is...they really dont have it.

Paying Dak $40m will not improve the defense, actually will possibly mean we're out bid on Aldon Smith and any decent linebackers/safeties that are available in FA

Such a stupid red herring. Just because you are not the problem does not mean you are in fact the solution. You know what the solution is? A competent defense and special teams.

This defense might be the worst in the league but you clowns are so fascinated by the guy who single handedly keeps us in the games. He would have won 2 games in a row being down 15 in the 2nd half if it was not for this junk defense.

The defense is not good , but they would be better if Dak would not keep them on the field so much during the first half of games. There is a reason why the Cowboys are always trying to come back late in games. It is due to Dak’s inconsistency and poor execution in the first half of many of these games.

Let me go slower for you sir....the Cowboys have also had the best talent on paper and drafts in the NFL counting all teams in the past 10 years.

We haven't won jack.

So claiming Dak had this "best accredited Online" is fools Gold

Cowboy Fans always overate our teams. None of these Safeties probably start in the NFC East

You show the classic blinkered Dak fan mentality above by looking at individuals rather than units.

You show the classic TV myth coolaid sipping couch fan.

Cap Hell is a myth created by cheap owners and lazy GMs

I bet the cap space will mysteriously appear if the Safety by Committee keeps getting torched..

Agree, but paying Dak $40m isnt going to be the solution.

If he was a game winner like your Mahomes, Jackson, Wilson then you can justify it, but Dak doesnt win games on his own.

We've got too many holes (especially Defensively) to warrant spending further on a QB. A lesser QB and improving the Defense would arguably produce better results.
