He didn't get the Atlanta job because he wants 100% control of football operations. Last I checked, one does not get that as a DC.
Again, think outside the box.

Did you ever think Elon Musk would buy Twitter? Buy the way, thanks Elon! He increased Free Speech!

Please, please, please!!!

Would Jerry be willing to do it? Why the hel_ not. Jerry doesn’t loss any control AND gets the best DC in the game( I think ).

Would Belichick be willing to take a demotion to coach this year? Man I hope so!!

Would Belichick take our Defense to the next level( #1 Defense in the NFL )? I think it is possible with a few good additions and Belichick’s defense mind. Guaranteed he would drum into our players heads, “ DO YOUR JOB, AND DO IT WELL!” Less penalties, less blown coverages, less 205lb safeties playing MLBer on the goalline( that will NEVER HAPPEN! ).

Great Coaches, like Belichick, make players better BECAUSE they put them in position, so it is easier for them to make plays.

If we win the Lottery and Belichick becomes our DC, I like our chances of making it to the NFC Championship at least.

Is anyone else excited about Belichick as our DC?
The only way Bill is here is if hired as an advisor to the head coach or team.

Never gonna happen. BB isn't taking a step down as a DC. He wants a head coaching job or no job at all. The wishful thinking around here is really getting annoying. Dallas had their chance with Carroll and Harbaugh but clearly aren't dedicated to winning. So we as fans get to suffer the indignity of watching other teams like the Lions surpass the Cowboys because management is only concerned with the profits they rake in producing a an average product year after year, and decade after decade. And that isn't changing any time soon. That is the only certainty.

if he doesn't land a HC job, and his plan is to HC in '25, then why not. Better than being on TV for a year.

Wash and Seattle are waiting for the title games to be over to pounce on their guys. My bets are Detroit’s OC to Wash, and Balty’s DC MacDonald, or their new OC to Seattle.

BB is 71 years old. He's the second winningest HC in NFL history and has more championships than the guy he's chasing.

He's not taking a DC job. Be serious.
Thank you! My thoughts exactly. Some of our fans live in fantasy land. It’s the same bunch who drink JJ’s kool aid every year.

Don't see Belichick in Dallas, but I'm ready to move on from Dan Quinn. I want a defense absolutely committed to stopping the run and big plays. These high-octane aggressive style defenses tend to flame out during the course of a season.

1. Bellichick's not working for Jerry
2. He's not going to be demoted to DC.
3. He's getting up there in age. If he wants to become the leagues winningest HC ever, he has to get a HC job. DC won't do it.

It's understandable to be a little loopy right now but there's no way BB is coming here to be a DC.

Not sure THE DREAM MAKER, who will demand full control and final say over his defense is willing to take a job with a team that has such a meddling owner who will constantly be questioning his every move.......NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

Note that both the big coaching names out there are coaches who are defensive guys. The league is very much after Offense and coaches that can bolster that side of the ball
