OK...my mom's birthday was last week...I am seeing her tomorrow...I was going to give her this thread as a gift...but now that's out the window...so y'all owe me $25 each for the gift I am going to have to buy her.

Kidding aside, can we please just chill out a bit...the rules are pretty clear here...no sense in putting a toe or two over the line, ya know?

Hey..ditto for me...I've got a recording studio in my home....AW4416....and about a zillion guitars..

and btw, I agree about Hendrix...I am pretty much in to Satriani too...and if you listen to him play Red House, with Steve Vai, you can hear how respectful he is of Hendrix...uh, unlike Vai...

A zillion years ago, I jammed with Satriani...he lived about 3 minute from my house...some guy I knew kept talking about his friend "Joe Satch"...so I finally gave in....

MY LORD..the sounds that came out of that guy's guitar....

Agreed...He surprised me some.

However I think T.Davis does not do a very good job, he just does not look comfortable on the show, maybe it is him being new to the gig....but of all the guys he just sticks out like a sore thumb IMO.

He's got a great balance...he knows how to do player speak with player interviews...he knows how to dumb things down for guys like me...and he also has an edge when he's got something to say..

Ya know, it's interesting...we see these guys in uniforms....HUGE....but we often forget that there's actually humans in that uniform...or at least I do...
