Ehh, I still have some confidence in Cassel. Thought he put us in a place where we could win a couple games. I think he'll at least keep it closer and give us a chance to win.
Here’s the conventional wisdom you’re bound to hear in the coming days, as the Cowboys begin their preparations for Washington.
Inexplicably, the 3-8 Cowboys are technically still alive in the NFC East – largely thanks to the mediocrity of the division as a whole. The Commanders currently lead the division standings at just 5-6, having defeated the Giants – now also 5-6. The Eagles, now 4-7 after getting thrashed by Detroit, are in a freefall almost as bad as the Cowboys.
Taking all of this into account, the common logic says the Cowboys need to play their experienced starting quarterback, Matt Cassel, to hold the reins in place ofTony Romo. Cassel has 11 years of NFL experience, he led this Dallas offense for a month during Romo’s first injury and he has been a part of playoff races before.

Wonder if they are warming the fans up to the idea of Him getting starting time after we are officially mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.
If it were Mickey doing the article I would say it is going to happen but we will see.
I can't see him as a scheme fit at all.
He's got a noodle arm. Like a left handed Ken Dorsey.
Everything we do is so long, drawn out, and downfield.
Cassel has pretty good pocket presence and decent mobility and that's it. He's woefully inaccurate and doesn't throw the ball well and his anticipation is horrendous. I'm all for Moore getting a chance.

Cassel is pretty bad. He side arms all this throws and aiming instead of throwing which make him inaccurate. He is what he is. Old dog that can't learn new tricks. I won't even bother resigning him.
Time to give the kid a chance. No point in talking about playoffs. It's time to find out who can and who can't play on this roster.
The more I watch this Offense, the more I think it's not just the QB.

He also doesn't even see Dez (yes, Dez had the worst game I've ever seen him play today) when Dez is open.
I think we are seeing that 'winning in the trenches' just doesn't automatically equate to winning games and it's far from it. The D-Line could have done a better job on Lacy, but the O-Line was most excellent today and the D-Line did a nice job on Rodgers. And we didn't even come close to winning because we have no secondary and no passing game. Cassel had all day to throw and just wasn't even close.

how is Cassell in this league so far? he has so much time to throw but has extreme tunnel vision,Romo would have killed in this game.
