After what Jerry and his son have said over the past week. The fact you can still straight faced defend them is laughable in itself. Keep stacking those regular season wins.
Well 25 wins in the last 2 years and 1 of those was in the playoffs and then look at the foundation they have built going into next year. When you look at where the team is you have to have some respect for what they have built and what they have going forward. They should be in the mix again next year as one of the better teams in the league. What is laughable is the current hate when the team is good.

another year, and we still think WE are the smartest front office, sans the results to back it up.
If they have another 12 win season and get 2 or 3 playoff wins, maybe they are. Let's see what they do.

What is laughable is this team could be winless and you would be here defending this FO. This team never does any wrong in your eyes. Its insane. You can be a fan and also be critical of what this FO has failed to do. They completely whiffed on the WR position this year and it showed in the playoffs.

So, the Cowboys are tying up big bucks at the running back position next season on a couple of guys that at this point show very little promise. One has long ago hit the "running back wall" and is a shell of his once all pro self. The second sustained a very serious leg injury in his last game and will probably limp thru much of the upcoming season. He too will not be his old pro bowler self until 2024, if ever. SMH at Cowboy management.
If they keep Zeke and don't extremely lower the cap hit, I'll be very surprised. Frankly, I'm for moving on from Elliott because I think we can get better production from a fresher back.

Why aren't we measuring success in winning Super Bowls? Have we lowered the bar to just winning in the regular season? That don't cut it with me. Thats a losers mentality, accepting less than appearing in a SB.

Can sign a quality free agent RB for 4/5 million + draft a RB in the 2nd/3rd to fill the position more than adequately. Instead Jerry/Stephen will keep Pollard and Zeke and spend another $16-18M on the easiest position to fill in the game. And then we will wonder why no legit free agents were signed again….

Pretty much par for the course around here isn't it? You would hope they would have learned something from Gallup. Maybe even signing Josh Jacobs instead might be a little cheaper
Josh Jacobs led the league in rushing with almost 1700 yards, and scored 12 TDs, and tacked on 53 catches for 400 yards.
That player is not going to be cheaper than Pollard - or any other RB - hitting FA this spring.

They won a playoff game. Don't speak for me. This is a good team. They aren't a winless team. You are ridiculous. Go ahead complain. Complain all year. It's ridiculous.

Yippee. They won a playoff game. Against a 50 year old AARP member and the best team from the worst division in football. Only to then go out and lose to a team lead by the last pick in the draft. You have some very low expectations.

Very good move. I think the math is $12-13MM. Seems like a lot for him but for 1 year it's a good deal. Cut Zeke and invest a 3 or 4th rounder in a new RB and we are cooking.

Why not the transition tag? We need to learn how to measure our players worth as they hit fa. Players that you aren't building a whole team around should be given transition or non exclusive tags so you have the right to match an offer but aren't overpaying.

My bad then, I thought I saw something about an expected contract of around 10.5 Million a year but I guess some team will exceed that.

By Zeke .......lol

Both WILL NOT return
I wouldn’t bring both back
I wouldn’t tag pollard
I’d just sign him to a 3-4 year deal which is easier to manage the cap hit and short enough that you don’t owe him money when he’s all but done as a RB
But that’s just me lol
