Pollard tackle before the endzone

I'm so glad Dallas didnt resign Pollard long term, that wouldve been another huge mistake if he had been. That tackle by db at the half yard line was embarrassing. That play isn't getting talked about enough
He could have easily got in if he put his shoulder down

I remember CZ fans telling me last year that Pollard was as good as CMC. He was just being held back by Zeke.

Good times

the team should have headed for the locker room after that play. no way they should have played the rest of the game after that blunder. The game was over on that first possession. lmao....

Yep, he should've scored on that play. Stood straight up and tried to dance in when he needed to lower a shoulder and get in.

That's why they went with Luepke the next play, and we know how that went. Tony is free to go after this season.
I agree, the fumble was a high handoff..but still....

He’ll be relatively cheap..

I can’t see him getting more than 5 million a year and he’s got a season or 2 before he’s done anyways like most RB’s.

Just keep drafting them though. There are stud RBs every year that just need opportunity.
Should got a legit RB this year in the draft. Or two. Instead we stayed pat with our PS players and picked up two specialist runners.

TD if he continues to the pylon.

The mistake to cut it back was only magnified by him running straight up. If he drops his weight like an actual RB, he still probably scores.

Just a terrible play from a professional RB.

I have a theory on what happened there. Pollard has lost a step. Last year Pollard would have sprinted to the end zone and no one would have caught him. I think Pollard thought he had an easy score and was surprised when a Dolphins guy grabbed him. If you notice, he had plenty of room to the outside. He could have taken a wider angle to the pylon. But he cut upfield because he was sure he would score before anyone could get to him.

Maybe he needs another year to recover from his injury. Or maybe this is who he will be for the rest of his career.

But let's be honest folks. 1st and goal from 1 ft and they fumble a simple hand off? That was the sign this was going to be another lost effort.

Tony was explosive last year, then he got paid and this year he's not even scary...

no need for a parade.......eating crow is more appropriate for those that championed TPollard as the bell cow and dismissing poor blocking while blaming Zeke for problems that are still with this team.
Lol nah isn't a miss Zeke thread, Zeke has two tds on the season. Pollard has 5, this is just a glad we didn't give Pollard a long term contract. I'd still take Pollard over Zeke
