How about the last 20? you can pick any number you like so long as it goes with your arguement. Fact is this: Skins last wona SB in 1991. Boys in 1995 (seasons). Advantage Boys. Current owners: who has won a SB and who has not? Advantage boys. Who has last won a payoff game? Advantage skins. Who was last IN the playoffs? advantage boys. The last 5 years who has had a better overall record? advantage boys. Just seems there are a lot more advantages to the boys anyway you try and shape the arguement.

So you claim your team has a lot of talent. Offensively you have some possibilities; but defensively you guys are out of luck. You do NOT have the talent to chalenge for the SB. Simple fact.
Unlike some boys fans, to me the only really successfull season is reaching the SB. The only totally successful season is winning the SB. Everything else really does not matter much.

Had you played something resembling a LEGITIMATE playoff team, rather than the Bucs, you would have been sent home losers... just like you were when the crippled Seahawks dispatched you the following week...

My point was that in the last 10 or 11 years, the Skins have gotten closer to the NFC Championship game than the Boys. They've actually won a few playoff games in the last decade and if it weren't for a botched FG hold (painful for both of us), they probably would have gotten to the Big Game.

No one should bash CP for being optimistic. He knows his team has a lot of talent, and barring injuries, this team WILL be much better than last year.

I can only speak for myself, not an entire message board. I would never laugh at someone who thought and said his team would be successful.

apparantely all the people laughing.

players talk. it's what they do and even moreso in the off-season. if taken w/more than a grain of salt by the respective team you're simply setting youself up for disappointement.

nothing has changed.

I guess I just have to be optimistic that our coaches can find a way to get the most out of their players.

Our 2004 defense is a great example of this. We didn't have the most talented players out there, but GW some how managed to get a top 5 defense out of them.

I guess we just have to hopemi that our coaches finally step up and prove why they are worth millions

fair enough. i just think it takea lot of luck combined with the ability to do just that - get the most out of your players.

parcells, to me, good coach but could only reach those who got past his gruff exterior. they became "parcells guys". to me that simply causes a division where it's not necessary and one reason why i felt we'd not come together as a "team" as the coach already had us divided.

in any event, hopefully we'll end our streak of no playoffs this year and hopefully we've got a couple of hallmark skins/cowboys games to look back on!
