- Both rookies OT Guyton and C Beebe received extensive and considerable game experience playing time.
- Rookie LB Marist Liufau had a solid rookie year overall, and was a stand out in a few games - most commendable stepped up when Overshown went out for the year.
- RB Rico Dowdle remained healthy and durable - and as a starter, had a breakout season, and his first 1,000 yard season.
- Speedy KR/WR Kevontae Turpin continue to make his presence felt - especially on special teams with both kick-return and punt return for TDs. En route to another Pro Bowl invite.
Even impressed in surprise spot duty at RB (in-between the tackles at that)
- Despite a busted shoulder, CeeDee Lamb not only continues to display his skills as one of the more Elite WRs in entire NFL, but he
is easily one of the toughest, gutsy players in NFL, but in Cowboys history.
Whether Dak or backup QB Rush, he still was balling out big time.
- Bland was able to return to starting duty in 2nd half of season, in nick of time as Diggs was IRed for 2nd time in Cowboys career.
- Zimmer defense impressed vs one of the more formidable offenses in Tampa Bay Bucs
- Cooper Rush led impressive offense out-put vs Washington and Tampa Bay in big surprising wins
- FG Brandon Aubrey continue to establish himself as the new premiere FG kicker in the entire NFL en route to another Pro Bowl invite.
Only regret is he does not have the record for longest FG in NFL history ( he eventually will.!)
- WR Tolbert has shown a knack for seizing TDs in goal line/red zone spots.
- while not yet living up to his 1st rd billing, Mazi has improved from what he was as a rookie.
- Osa who usually tends to wear down 2nd half of seasons, actually showed up in this 2nd half.
(He's gonna get the big contract he covets, imo..either from Cap Boy or another NFL team)
- This is the best year i've ever seen from nickel CB Jourdan Lewis- he has been terrific in coverage, no up & down moments
