It's concerning.

Not as much pressure and playing backup corners. The pressure keeps the corners from getting exposed and sticky coverage gives a little more time for the pass rushers to get home.

I know the popular thing to do is blame it on Quinn, but it's hard to plug all the leaks when all you've got for some of them is tissue.

OK Cowboys Faithful, that's a wrap. What a difference a week makes. I don't like these heart attack games, but it's so much better being on the winning side this time. We beat the Eagles! We beat the freakin' big mouth, boisterous Eagles with their stupid head coach. Merry Christmas indeed. Everybody enjoy your Victory Christmas. The food will taste so much better tomorrow, LOL. 11-4 with 2 games to go and we may have already played our last home game this season. Crazy. I hope we have 5 or 6 more games this season, if you know what I mean. Good night Cowboys Zoners and again, MERRY CHRISTIMAS!

Merry Christmas to you, B' Mama C.

For me, yes. Having watched this team and what happens when the officials get involved, I don't consider it simple for them. Again, I'd rather them stay out of it, like they did in this game, because I've seen what happens when they don't ... and it's usually nothing good for us.

Ideally, I'd love for them to call those holding penalties on the other team, the pass interference where Gallup was grabbed, the incompletion to Smith on the sideline, etc. ... Conversely, I'd rather them keep the flags in their pocket rather than call some ticky-tack or weird thing against us that affects the outcome of the game. Again, I'm not disappointed that that's what they did rather than what they could have done. Could it have been done better? Absolutely. But it also could have been much worse if it was a flagfest.

A question for you: How often have you seen the officials let them play, call when consistent and not dictate the outcome? Most of the time we end up on the wrong side of flag football deservedly or not.
Let's not make this a novel. Good Lord. I stated, in layman's terms, what would be fair, IMO. Don't drag every possible scenario into this. Flag football? I NEVER stated that. EVER. Stupid question. Stupid scenario. Go back and read my response. THE END.
