Pre-Draft PC Jerry, Stephen and Jason at 1:00 CST 04/25

That's funny..it's "apparent" too many others it's Ramsey or Bosa. We shall see, but I think it will be Ramsey.

Apparent to people that either didn't watch/listen or are choosing to ignore based on personal feelings. Like I said later in the thread, nearly 100% of Cowboys twitter listened and came to the same exact conclusion. Believe what you want.

If I was not at work I would suggest we have a drinking game and everyone takes a drink when Jerry says Ummm OR When Jerry does his famous smile and wink move when he thinks he is making a good joke.

The room would definitely be spinning... lol

Other than Byron Jones the most notable NFL player is Dan Orlovsky....
Not exactly Florida State.

Donald Brown, from UConn, was draft 30th overall by the Colts.... better than Orlovsky.

Clearly Ramsey is the target and reading between the lines I don't believe Bosa or Zeke either one is the fall back plan.

The best thing that was said about Elliott is that he is a top 10 player. I think Jerry made it clear that Bosa wont be the pick and it isn't due to character issues. I don't think Tunsil is the fall back either. Jerry joked about taking another O-lineman and then said "just kidding".

I think it is either one of two things.

1. Their fall back player is one that most of us haven't pegged yet
or
2. They are confident SD is going a different route and Ramsey will be there.

Methinks all of this talk by the FO is little more than pre-draft jockeying for advantage. It's useless to put too much stock into what they're throwing out there.

The Dallas FO and the coaches can never come to agreement upon who they want in the draft. As much as Will McClay would like to "get them all on the same page," it seems he's got his work cut out for him. They just might be duking it out in the war room again this year. Good luck with that.

I am thinking SD takes Ramsey right before us.

Garrett will be busy playing footsies under the table with Charlotte while the others fight over the selection..lol.

I kinda got that feeling from them regarding Ramsey. Really talking him up. JMO

That didn't make sense to me either. They've been really tight lipped this year and suddenly talk up the player they're after for everyone to see? There could be a surprise pick on Thursday.

Garrett and his draft strategy...lol.

Debatable. Plus I said notable. Orlovsky has been an NFL QB for 11 seasons now. While he has not been good I would guess more NFL fans have heard of Dan Orlovsky than Donald Brown.

I read Jerry's words as saying Elliott was the fallback player if Ramsey isn't there.
Jerry made a point to add to Stephens comments by making sure everyone knew that they don't view a rookie RB with the same devalued position they took on Demarco Murray. It sounded like Jerry was justifying the pick of Elliott at 4 before they even drafted him. Without this part of the press conference I would have thought they would not draft him because they don't value a RB that much. But Jerry made sure everyone knew they do valuable a Rookie RB who can play all 3 downs for the life of their rookie contract. Jerry also made a point to answer NO to the question about having enough talent on offense. Of course that could mean Booker or another RB, or WR in the second round ect.

Someone made that point yesterday and i sorta disagreed. Mainly because Jerry generally has diarrhea of the mouth, so it wouldn't surprise me if he just spilled the beans 2 days before the draft. But the more i think about it, they all pretty much had the same message yesterday as if it were scripted. So yes, maybe they purposely and strategically got their message out to the rest of the league yesterday.
Was Buckner mentioned at all yesterday at the presser???

I'm bummed about it but, it looks like Ramsey is the pick if SD doesn't take him or someone trade up with SD to take him.
I think if Ramsey is taken then Zeke will be the pick if we don't trade down to let someone have Tunsil. I don't really
think Bosa is in the running at #4 at all.
