I honestly don't know how Ramsey is such a higher rated prospect than Jones. Maybe Jones was really under rated, maybe Ramsey is really over rated, maybe a little of both. But I think Jones is at least as good of a prospect as Ramsey is.

Jalen is far better than Byron coming out, that said Elliot or Tunsil look like the pick if he's not there and they are talents you have to like adding to any NFL team.

Meanwhile Bosa and Buckner look like they could be the picks with huge needs mentioned on the DL ... never wanted Bosa but Buckner is a Beast.

Hopefully there really are no off the field issues that come with any of these five 1st round options @ #4, if not I'm in with this thinking.

Lot of talk lately about Buckner who makes a lot of sense for them. OL is a bit of overkill for them because they have signed free agents at LT and RT...not huge deals but still enough that you wouldn't want them sitting on the pine. I would think it is Ramsey or Buckner for them.

I agree with you.
People have a huge love fest with Ramsey. Maybe it's warranted. But I don't see such amazing production from him to warrant this level of praise. B Jones played at a small school so there is always that. But to me Ramsey is a question mark at CB. Why did Florida State have him playing safety if he the next coming of Dion Sanders at corner? Just doesn't make sense.
 
What did jerry say negatively about Bosa?
 
Jones was a small school combine workout warrior. Still being a 1st rounder playing against lower level competition is a big deal.

There is some Buckner talk for them, I just think it would be a huge mistake to pass on Tunsil because King Dunlap and Joel Barskdale are average at best, and either can be made a june 1st cut and that really mitigates the salary dilemma.

The school Ramsey went to IMO. That's the only difference to me before Ramsey has played in the league. If Jones went to a better football school they'd hype him up the same esp with the combine he had last year.

And his college tape showed plenty of playmaking ability. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the combine workout warrior comment, but Byron was a very productive player.

When i hear workout warrior I think of a player who didn't produce on the field but has great athletic ability. Jones had both, just not against top notch competition.
 
And SD is taking Ramsey so we'd better get used to Tunsil if they truly believe BPA. Though I don't believe they'll take him for one second.
 
Making Ramsey a corner this year is dumb to me. Just sign Cromartie, cut Carr and put Ramsey with Jones for this year and next year let Jalen play corner.

Which means he really wants Elliot. Garrett always fancied himself a good actor and poker player, but he's not. LOL.
