I am very happy knowing either Zeke or Ramsey will be a Cowboy.

That's my hope too. I read that chargers article. It seems to me that chargers really like Buckner. Then it falls on us. That is gonna be so hard to decide. I think imo they go Ramsey. Draft rb in round two or three. We can start our dback field like Seahawks

I don't think he'll be an average corner.

He's got the athletic ability to stay with the ODB's and he's big enough and physical enough to shut down the ODBs and the NFL receivers that are bigger.

I would've much rather had Ramsey than Elliot on that day.

This what happens when you goto a powerhouse school. Guys has about the same measurables as the person picked 28th last year but because of the school he gets that extra bump. Can't say I'm surprised we all tend to do that on things at times. I will keep saying if Jones went to some football powerhouse he would have had the same type of buzz coming out and I don't think most of us think his best position is corner. Maybe I'm wrong that last part though but I know I don't.

1. I believe they're split on Elliott and Ramsey, assuming both are available. We will probably read about how the room was divided sometime after the draft.

2. I'd almost rule out a trade down at this point. If they do, it will only be down 3 spots max. Stephen basically said there aren't many great players at the top of the draft. So depending on who goes 3rd(SD) and what they hear from Jax/Balt as far as their plans, and who is trying to trade up, maybe the Cowboys feel comfortable dropping down a few spots still getting one of the few guys they really like. At this point, I'd say it's unlikely.

3. Don't be surprised to see 3 offensive players drafted with their first 5 picks. Elliot, a WR and then QB.

Certainly possible. If they're hiding interest in a player other than Ramsey, it'd have to be Buckner. Lots of interested teams in the top 10, I'd bet. Including Jags and Ravens, who could easily jump up with SD

I don't know what that means because maybe that's what Nick Eatmon was talking about a few days ago. He said the Cowboys asked somebody that they thought would give them a ringing endorsement of Ramsey and they didn't at cornerback but not overall as a player iirc.

lol, there fan base is divided, I'm getting a slight break towards Ramsey, but it could easily be Tunsil. I think they would prefer a trade down, but not sure if it will happen

Not sure how SD could balk at a franchise OT for a franchise CB/S.

Would be poor roster building for sure.

If they do take Ramsey, pick a position and let him focus on it this year and don't pull a Jones and have him try to learn 3 different positions.

If they go DL, I'd put $ on Buckner being the pick.

Hargreaves doesn't fit their prototype at CB. Good player though. Lynch at 4 would be a shocker for sure. Buckner is surely in play at 4. Spence maybe in a trade down out of the top 10. Unlikely.
