I didn't get mad lol. I already know the type of poster you are lol. You consistently make statements you claim I say and then I ask you to prove I said it and you never do. All I ask is prove what you say.
I intend no ill will. And i do believe in taking comments fairly literal...to a certain extent. You made a statement that romo had defenses. There are implications there...that dont take a lot of imigination...or even....gasp....lying....to draw.

I think .since you hate "the kind of poster i am".....you should put me on ignore.

Or maybe a cease fire is in order and we could start fresh.

Once again, I never said I "HATE" you. I don't put anyone on ignore. Its not that serious. All i'm doing is correcting what you're saying. I never said Romo's defenses didn't give up points and I never said I "hated" you. At the end of the day Romo never played wthi a doomsday D. Played with flawed defenses.....just like Dak has. So this whole argument that "Well if Romo had a defense this good"....this defense just got torched by Joshua Dobbs, Sam Howell, Trevor Lawrence, the Texans QB's.....I do think this is a solid defense but Romo had some especially under Wade.

Dak has tied Romo's playoff wins in half the number of years. Romo never advanced beyond the division around. If Dak can get one more playoff win and advance to the NFC championship game, the Prescott-Romo debate can be put to bed forever.
You're exactly right. TRomo never won on the road in the playoffs, as well. But the debate will not stop, regardless of what Dak does favorable,.....TRomo is Beloved on here. The theme will be TRomo won more, despite everyone else......players and coaches.

Definitely hoping Dak helps lead the Cowboys to a win this week... however...

Romo and Prescott didnt play each other in football.
They didnt play on the same teams
They did not play against the same opponents

Grow the hell up

Ahhh but look at all those SB titles both have brought in their careers. It’s a sad state of affairs with our team for anyone to even post this garbage. Romo was average. To this point Dak is average. Let’s see what he does in a tight game he’s gotta win at the end of the game in the playoffs. To this point, both are busts!

I put that to rest a long time ago. As a fan of Romo and now a fan of Dak since he took over I don't waste too much time trying to compare them. I think Romo was a very good QB for this team and gave reason for hope. Dak is still playing and his career far from over, I hope he can help get this team over the hump and to a SB but if he can then it will be because Dak and this team were able to step up and get it done.
Dak has a better team. But i think they are right on par with each other as far as players anyway.

The middle of Romo’s career was filled with awful talent on both lines (and a few other great players in Ware and Witten) and coaching compared to Dak. Romo had Garrett for ten years as OC and head coach and Will McClay didn’t come in until the tail end of his career. He lost Parcells after less than a year, and Phillips wanted to bring in Dan Reeves as an offensive coaching consultant to help the future head coach in waiting he was straddled with and was looking to take over his job. The talent acquisition and coaching Dak has had has been miles better across the board as soon as JJ got out of the way except for talking too much. Just stop it.

Thank you for clarifying your statement.

I guess we just disagree...a "solid defense" is about more than just one player. I think Romo suffered from having to go back out time and again to try to win a game. I asked you how often. And we never really settled that. I...at least gave an example...of "Romo's defense" not being able to stop Peyton/Broncos...and Romo shouldered that blame as an inevitable choker.

I don't think we have seen Dak having to go out 2-3 times after getting the lead once. Just one time.... he's both choked and been a hero.

I hate that we have to invoke Romo to prop up Dak...but maybe that's just me. I get it...there might be some assumptions there, and some hypocrite call outs...I get it.

Both are good players giving everything they got, while not having the big perceived pedigree some 1st rounder QBs might have.

How many playoff games would we have lost with Romo at quarterback if the defense had given up just 14 points? Wins and losses are a team statistic no matter how much fans want to make it all about the quarterback.

It was a fantastic game by Dak, so we shouldn't take anything away from his performance. But it takes a team. If our defense had given up 32 points, we'd be in here today complaining about the drives where we didn't score or lamenting our kicker missing four extra points.
Good points
No matter want you want to label it....the OP diamonddelts' take is -that with a playoff win Sunday - he will rate Prescott as the better Cowboys QB ---IN HIS OPINION.
That's why he created the thread.
I don't think one is better than the other.

Any one who has ever wondered why there are people who seem to "over harp" on Dak, Look no farther than OP

It's this kind of little brother antics that continue to fan the flames of this type of forum chaos.
Dance puppets dance.

No need to stop anything. Though your post makes some excellent points. Anyone under Garrett was doomed to ice skating uphill.

I don’t care to debate either one..no one has won anything until at least making the nfc championship. Romo vs Dak lol..no one should compare themselves to any loser. Compare yourself to winners and then Daks number are just ok over 8 seasons, most winners have something to show for it over 8 seasons and hopefully this is the year he does that, otherwise just another lost year.
