While Gallup adds that extremely valuable high point ability, I think Wilson is the better overall WR. His early injury issues hindered his development and Gallup took over as the healthy player. Tables may be turning, hey?I just think he’s a true slot player. And Dak needs those easy underneath throws. Wilson is a nice fit in the slot.
im taking whomever is cheaper , its coimn flip whos beter but that acl is gouign to cost glalup moiney. CedW can play and i know we can have oru cake and eat it toooWho do we sign first???
and is a punt returnerGallup is better overall. Wilson’s better in the slot. Plus, he’s more elusive in space.
With the way things are guys have been coming back in like 6 to 8 months so yea at some pointWill he be able to play next year.?
way downGallup’s injury plagued season will cause his price tag to come down. We’ll have to see what the Cowboys do.
and is a punt returner
Tough one. I love Coop, but man those little nagging injuries are always taking away from what he does. I wish he'd be reasonable and play for like $12 mil/season. Taking into account that he's not always available/productive, around that amount seems reasonable. Will be interesting. I think Coop is gone. Trade or cut. No more guarantees and he and Jerry are chirping at each other through the media.
That will save like 14 million or more of cap space. I could see that money being allocated to both players. No way Dallas let’s them both walk if Coop is cut. I’m worried Wilson gets overpaid.
Should sign Gallup, but will likely try to resign Wilson.
Wilson's issue is his build. His lack of "body armor" could result in an injury prone career. That's one of the primary reasons he wasn't an earlier round pickHere is my question. Is the Cowboys offense better with Lamb, Wilson and Gallup or with Lamb Cooper and someone else we do not know yet?
Wilson, Brown, and Turner are all free agents which leaves just Lamb and Cooper if we do not sign one of the others. Even then we will need another 2 receivers.
I am hesitant to anoint Wilson despite the good games he has had, especially since last night he faced the Eagles practice squad players. Clearly he shows some good things. But Cooper is a nifty route runner when he wants to be. He is complaining about not getting the ball enough but it seems like he does not get open as much as a $20 million WR should.
If Cooper was not making $20 million a year this would not be a question. Keep him. But with a CAP problem in 2022 getting a $16 million CAP save would be very helpful.
I am inclined to believe that the Cowboys can learn to live without Cooper if they can find a good TE and another WR. If trading Cooper meant signing Gallup, Wilson and Turner, I would definitely consider it. But the Cowboys also have Gregory to sign. And I know the arguments against Gregory, but if they called holding on him even half the time he is held, that would be worth signing him for another 2 or 3 years.

After ACL surgery, Gallup may not regain his hops. If he was better before(highly debatable), he may not be any more.im taking whomever is cheaper , its coimn flip whos beter but that acl is gouign to cost glalup moiney. CedW can play and i know we can have oru cake and eat it tooo
so lamb coop and Wilson look good to me,
get 3rd comp pick for Gallup etc
win win
I know gallups slightly better but in cap league you have to make decisions and i like ced, how much wil he cost is the key to this... will he be the next Robinson, harper, and Austin to name few who leave good situation and don't do much after
not worried about recovery like dak he will come back without much downside ACLs are easy to comeback from, i had mine replaced in 2018 and still at going on 52 wakeboard, snowboarding, surfing, and other things,,its not been an issue at all,.After ACL surgery, Gallup may not regain his hops. Wilson is better, but not by much.not worried about recovery like dak he will come back without much downside ACLs are easy to comeback from, i had mine replaced in 2018 and still at going on 52 wakeboard, snowboarding, surfing, and other things,,its not been an issue at all,.
the issue is his recovery time and once hes back he will have to ramp up so no ones paying premium to wait on that,
this is about value and Ced might be the better value with very little drop off. There are some, Gallups better IMO but not by much,
disagree Gallups better but its close. the injury and injuries this year are the evening factor then mioney.it why ill take comp pick for Gallup and sign CW for less.win winWilson is better, but not by much.
You're not trying to play football at an NFL level. Completely different scenario than executing hobbies.
Not sharks realist they see AV under big deal already , still have lamb , Gallup gets hurt and its not much of difference talent wise between the two, why not take CW and get comp pick for gallup when he signed elsewhere? that business sense ..take emotions and loyalty out of it, theres a cap.Gallup just tore an ACL, and the sharks smell blood in the water. Unbelievable, except here.
