It all goes back to the lack of hitting at practice. You can not teach technique, leverage, and how to move other large men against their will with only run throughs with no pads on.
That also explains the horrible tackling in the NFL anymore

That's collective bargaining agreements for ya. Watched something the other day though, specific to a NFC East rival basically said that team doesn't practice a lot outside of the agreement

these rankings are hugely subjective. In big games, the line played like bottom 5. Thats all I care about, the eye test.

Two all-pro's, should be three, a pro bowler and Steele.

Probably more like #3. O-line was not a problem if you know what the rest of the league is fielding.

It’s overall ratings. Tyler was good. Zack was good. Tyron was good in pass and not very good in run. Biadasz was weak whenever he was 1-1. Steele was poor as he fought back from injury.

Dallas overall had a good score as pass blocking, but they had a horrible run blocking grade. Let’s not act like this ranking means much when Indy and Minny were both ranked ahead of us. There’s more to it than just averaging the 5 players.

One day you guys will give up on these stat geek win rate BS grades and rankings that don't mean anything.

The 6th best OL can't be taken seriously.
Did you watch NFL besides Cowboys and Wentz? Our line looks better than most

That sure wasn't the 6th best OL playing GB.

Hard to believe Dallas is 6th. Wee were only 18th best in sacks and 16th best in rushing average. There must be a reason we were rated that high but whatever it is does not translate into game stats.
Martin made all pro. I think some of these things are on reputation not the actual product on the field this year

All those points scored.

OL is not the problem with this team. You can tell who doesn't watch a lot of other teams but their reaction to this.

Dak gets some of the longest, cleanest pockets in the league. Our run game was stuffed due to poor scheme and poor intent. A lot of our run plays are Dak audible or for clock management. Very few games that MM actually committed to the run and stuck with it. Also Dak audibles out of run downs a LOT (this has been analysed before) to get his passing stats up.

OL is not the problem.. go and watch other teams and honestly.. it is a revolving door.

I expected we had a top 10 offensive line however closer to the 8-10 range imo. Higher then I expected but were see what other platforms place us.

As people have stated it goes to show how bad the OL play is around the league. People just get narrow minded and zoned in on our OL.

Run blocking wasn't great nor terrible. I dunno why people think we had some trash tier run game. Pollard also got wrecked with tons of big plays called back at the last half of the season. Think there was a post in twitter that had him ranked first by a large margin on yards called back in a 4 week span. But yes the run game needs to improve.
We got scrubs at RB.

Shocked if Pollard returns anywhere.
