Do you mean like the last playoffs Romo was in (2014) when Dallas came back to WIN after being down 20-7:lmao:

Come on

lions-cowboys-flag.jpg

Still trying to make Romo out to be more than he is...

If it's not for one dubious make up call....no way in hell we win that game. I know it. You know it. The rest of the world knows it.

And last I looked 13 is not 2 TDs...:omg:

Its two TDs plus an extra point

Why do our own fans look for excuses for the opposing team?
The Lions had so many uncalled penalties it was ridiculous. Yet when Dallas pulls out rhe win, you, a suppossed Cowboy fan, makes excuses for the Lions.
You literally sound disappointed that we pulled out the win.
Sickening

both were throwing qb's but White when the NFL was still more run oriented. White had the wildcard of being the punter so there was always a small chance on 4th down of a play. Romo's performance suffered as pressure rose. White was steady. As noted above White took us to the conf game 3 times and was a victim of "The Catch" or he would of had a SB appearance.
In a nothing game I would take Romo. In a high pressure game-White

You really can't compare fairly from different era's. Too many things are different.

Your post is as close to comparing fairly as you can get. Three title games vs. a couple of divisional wins.

White was also the victim after "the catch" to... "the finger tackle" on his next drive that sealed that game against him.

Danny was not in a throw first offense.
Danny did not live in a "can't touch the receiver " era.
Danny could literally be murdered after throwing a pass or while scrambling.
Danny took his team's to 3 consecutive NFC championships.

Meanwhile,
Romo played with a future HOF receiver in Owens who is a top 5 receiver ever. He played with a future HOF TE, and numerous great runners in a league where u can't touch the receiver.

Danny White by 10 miles over Chokemo and his two measly playoff wins.

"Always know whether someone is worth listening to on football by how they act when I bring up Romo. IF they understand he was a top QB I listen further. If they spew stupid crap I tune them out" NFL scout

Sounds very similar to what Bill Belichick said a few years ago regarding Romo.
So you're in good company.

ok give me a time when the pressure mounted and Romo came thru(and not a regular season nothing game please)
all the games I mentioned (except vs. Payton) would have lead to a playoff game. Romo was great in regular season games. He choked when the games counted.
Detroit playoffs...down two TDs...4th qtr comeback win

At Washington, 2013, lose and out of playoffs. 4th quarter comback game-winning TD drive. With a heriated disc that would be operated on a couple days later.

The irony is, as a QB (not holder) he did his job in three final drives in playoff losses too.
Drove team to go ahead score at Seattle...then his holder flub.
Drove team to possible gamewinner vs New York. Seconds left, perfect endzone pass..but broken route by Crayton. But he did his job there.
Then the Dez catch/overturn. That was the only incomplete pass he had in the 2nd half.

Its fine if they dont count, I get it. But its not like as a QB he choked on those three drives.

LOL silly boy - you gave us Owens. I'll give you--

Dorsett
Newhouse

Tony Hill
Butch Johnson
Drew Pearson
Blly Joe Dupree

Too Tall
Harvey Martin
Randy White
DD Lewis

Dennis Thurman
Benny Barnes
Charlie Waters
Dexter Clingscale
(Thurman's Thieves)

1982 (White's prime) NFL 3rd ranked defense.

It's why the 5%ers are continually marginalized and not taken seriously. The only legitimate thing they have going is that they are allowed to post - after that it all goes embarrassingly downhill.

But here's the delicious part - the 5%ers believe it's all on the QB to win SB's. Meanwhile, we have to read Danny White 10 times over Tony yet White never won a SB. Then, of course we'll get into degrees NFL Championships, etc.

I loved Danny White. He didn't get it done with the 3rd ranked defense in the league.
I loved Tony Romo - he didn't get it done with an almost continuous string of bottom ten defenses.

Both were exceptional QB's and neither was a choker because then you have to point at Tom Rafferty missing a block in '82 or Demarcus Ware not getting a crucial sack in 2012.

For the 9, 000th time - football is the ultimate team sport and no QB can win a SB by himself. But I blame myself for even addressing it when almost all of you already know.

My bad.

You seem to refuse to stay on point. Romo didn't win that Lions game, the refs won it for the Cowboys. Danny White was a better QB and took the team farther into the playoffs several times. Those are just the facts. Stop your revisionist history to justify your Romo worship.

How many of those guys are Hall of Famers? Romo had just as many.

well then name them. And then remember how long that team was together not being parcelled out because of free agency. You really are embarrassing yourself. Tony Romo worked with these guys who are probably going to be in the HOF: Ware, Witten, TO.

Danny white had these guys who are IN THE HOF NOW:
Randy White; Tony Dorsett
and those that probably one day will get in:
Harvey Martin, Too Tall Jones, Charlie Waters
And then you have a bunch who were better at their position then what Tony had most of the time like Drew Pearson, Tony Hill, and by the way a O line that was pretty good as well. Dennis Thurman and Of course Everson Walls who were better than any CB we have had while Romo was here.
AND THEN THERE IS THE LITTLE MATTER OF HAVING A HOF COACH...

But Danny White is great in big games:omg:

Since neither player plays defense, here are their QB Playoff stats

Danny White playoffs
15 TDs
16 ints
Int rate 4.4%
57% comp rate
71.6 QB rating

Tony Romo playoff
8 TDs
2 ints
Int rate 1.1%
61.6% comp rate
93 QB rating

I know these are different eras, but White's teams played in more and won more playoff games because....
White's all around teams were better. Especially on defense.
He certainly didnt play better

Considering the guys that Danny White played with have had time to actually be honored and many of the guys that Romo played with are still playing... you sound ridiculous to want an actual head count. No doubt Witten will be a HoFer and I believe TO will eventually be a HoFer, Ware will be in as well.

you really are not reading anything are you? But then again maybe you don't dare reply directly because you would look dumber than you do now; which is hard to imagine.

Another rebuttal from you void of substance or counterpoints. Not surprising since you really have no point.
