If I put a camera on you for 2 hours there would be hundreds of stupid-looking faces.

But that doesn't even matter. What his face looks like doesn't mean anything and it is peak arrogance and stupidity all at once.

It is effectively the same logic as Eugenics.
I know more about Dak than you could ever even imagine to know.

Now we all agree it starts and ends with the owner/GM. Unfortunately nothing will change when Jerry passes away and Stephen takes over. It may get even worse unless he has some type of epiphany and hires a true GM.

I honestly thought the way Jerry looked after the Greenbay game there was a glimpse of a miracle about to happen and he was going to clean house. IMO I would have begun the rebuild right there. No point in "running it back" with the same key players when they obviously can't get it done. Would have dumped MM, not resigned Dak(at least talk to him about his no trade clause), got all I could for Lamb. Would have also got all I could for Diggs previously as you could tell he was turning into a pre Madonna and was starting to avoiding tackling at all costs prior to his contract. Would have started the rebuild by building up the trenches first on both sides of the ball, signing run stopping Dts and etc. Look to draft or trade for a QB the following years while we see what Lance has got. When we signed zeke and did nothing to address the run game it was just a massive *** to the fan base. We have seen good GMs rebuild teams into playoff / superbowl caliber teams in a 2-4 year span with the trades FA signing and etc.

Anyways back on topic about Dak. I said from day one he was the product of the talent around him and believed we could win a superbowl with him as long as he drove the bus straight. It started looking this way prior to his injury however ever since then my liking of Dak has declined. He's not that guy and never will be. He has been surrounded by a massive amount of talent on offense and defense the majority of his career. Has gone through many coaches and etc. Sometimes you just have to realize maybe the problem starts with him. Only reason he's considered a top 10 QB imo is simply due to the state of quarterbacks right now. It's been a long time since the quarterback position has been lacking this much talent.

Dont care what the stats say on paper. It's meaningless without looking deeper. Face value stats simply for trolls, mouth breathing click bait analysts and fantasy football peeps. Perfect example would be him and Romo sharing similar post season records. Dig deeper into each game and you will see they would be night and day different. Not even comparable imo.

Usually, it is said for a single game, not a season. So it can be when the rest of the team is having an off day, the quarterback is basically the reason they win a game they would've lost otherwise. So it doesn't always mean the team sucks.
QB's never win a game by themselves. Someone has to make the catch, someone has to block.

Any sane person would have. A drunken 82 year old megalomaniac? Not a chance.

So Dak gets all the excuses in the world and craps on more than any other qb too. Amazing…

Offense looks weak, lazy, it’s all of them.

Serious Question

Why is Dak always absolved of any blame when it comes to his poor play. After every INT, its either the receiver ran the wrong route or didnt do enough to break the pass up (see both ints when targeting ceedee in the endzone). After every fumble in the pocket (Sacks are a qb stat). And the most frequent excuse is scheme and lack of weapons. Was this not the same scheme when he was 2nd in mvp voting last season?

Cowboys twitter is filled with posts like this one. This is now the third offense where Dak fans have casted blame on the scheme.

The last question I pose is, what supposed top-5 QB have you seen constantly given these excuses for poor play? If he is as good as yall say, shouldnt his talent be able to overcome a “bad scheme”?

Dak in the whole deserves as much blame as anyone else. He should get no pass on his effort nor the bone head things that happen at times. But there is also a significant amount of people who also recognize the issues with the team. This team is crap on a stick. This ain't the same team from last year or any other year. So the comparisons are invalid in that regard. Beyond that all I can ask is do you think this team the way it is now is setup so Dak can perform at his highest level like last year?

When your QB fumbles and throws untimely INT's in the RZ it kind of deflates a team. When your QB does this on a weekly basis, it kind of deflates a team. After 8 years, it kind of deflates a team. No, he isn't the only one to blame....
Of course that can deflate any team. Not sure I saw anyone covering up that fact

Whats different on this offense besides Pollard and Tyron?

Dak has gotten the excuses of:

Scheme (same scheme as last year)
Receivers (same receivers as last year)
Coaching
OL
No run game

The last two are the only reasons I will allow.

Dak is a major issue . He's old , slow , mentally weak and soft .Yes we have glaring holes . But when you have the highest paid player in the league looking like a High school QB , the rest of the roster cannot overcome that. We need to eat Dak's salary and show his sorry arse the door
And this is the thing right here. You cannot speak about holes then say well the highest paid guy is the main issue. It doesn't work like that. As good as people like Mahomes and Brady are, if they didn't have people step up at key times they lose like everyone else. But so much is dependent on everyone else that only a few teams even get to the SB let alone win it. SF has had a crazy good squad year after year much more than us even lately and how many SBs do they have? It's little things it's big things and all in between. It will never be just one guy though.

I don't have access to ant next Gen stats but I bet you we rank about dead last in every category on offense. Receiver separation? Last. Run game? Last. OL? Almost last. I said before I have never offered excuse for his bad play attributed to him. But for me it's simple, how do they run the offense this year?

Scheme is meh but predictable why? Because defense coordinators don't have to worry about the run. That means every dB can focus on tackling and watching out for a pick. They can sit on it all day. Also make sure 88 has little if any space, double him if you have to because noone else is a threat. The Lions game proved that much. They focused on noone else and dominated convincingly. They know what we will do before we do.

Now drop any qb in the league in such a situation and tell me who comes out looking like flowers? That is the most honest I can be about this. We shock noone. We surprise noone. The result then is also not a surprise.

So when Romo got a punctured lung, and we saw several games where people were thinking geez he is going to get killed, it was all a myth. And back then when there were several articles written comparing that line and giving statistics to the previous bad offensive line and people were talking about it on this board, you weren't around, and it was all a myth? Seems to me that you are trying to combine several years of players and their performances, versus looking at the low point years, and then saying "Myth!" Which lines that Dak has played under have been worse than the line where Romo got a punctured lung with?
I'm not going to dispute your belief. Nor am I going to dispute injuries, never questioned that. Are we talking injuries or line play or are we going to start counting Pro Bowl linemen?

Troy Aikman just detailed what his eyes see when it comes to our WR group.

So we are bottom in everything on offense and the QB doesnt share any blame in that? Stop it man.

We all watched the Steelers game. Dak did almost everything to LOSE that game. That run game and OL is what won it for us on the last drive. A lot of those stats are skewed because of the awful Lions game.

Dak is like 3rd in yards and Ceedee is 5th in receiving. How is this possible if nobody is getting open and he doesnt have time to throw?

Nevertheless, my op wasnt just about this season. This is going on about 5 years now. Dak just HAS to be excused somehow when the team isnt performing well.

I could be wrong but Troy came out and said on film hes seeing bad route running. Cool. Im not doubting what Troy is saying there. But where is his concern about Dak’s play? Thats what im talking about
