Unfortunately, there are still a few who believe Dak is a great QB.
The fact that he pads his stats playing from behind when the game is out of reach in certain cases is totally oblivious to them.

His “ deer caught in the headlights” look during the Greenbay home playoff game last year told me everything I need to know about Dak. No matter how many stats he piles up against lesser teams , no matter how many regular season wins, he simply does not have it in him to advance in post season , even at home with a stacked roster. He’s gone far as a 4th round pick and over achieved but he just doesn’t have it and never will. The next 4 years will go in the trash bin of history.

My issue is the Dak haters choose to put all their focus on the QB when this team, this franchise has much bigger issues than Dak. Did Dak have a bad game, of course, is Dak an elite QB, hell no. Would replacing him with Mahomes, Burrows, Lamar, etc. made a difference on Sunday, absolutely not!! The scheme is trash, no run game whatsoever, head coach is a joke, defense doesn't exist. Anytime we play a team that matches or has better talent than us, we get blown out the water. The games we do win, it's because our roster/talent is better. That's a coach/scheme/culture issue, not a QB issue.

So why the hell are we talking about the QB and ignoring the main problem. Our loser GM/President/Owner/Idiot/Clown decided to not do anything this offseason and then wait till the very last minute to make Dak the highest paid player in the league. Why? Why!? He could have just not signed him and let him walk, he could have signed him earlier and opened up cap space at least to sign FAs. He literally did the stupidest thing you could do and when asked honest questions about it this week, Jerruh loses his mind, and threatens jobs where he isn't even the one cutting the payroll check but here we are talking Dak. C'mon people.

It is impossible to have football conversations anymore.....because too many people are down right angry over how much Dak makes!!! Everyone makes what they make because of their market value. From Roger Godell, to Jerry Jones...to every other owner, coach and player in the NFL!!!!!!!!!!! Dak was getting 50+ million from somebody...whether it be Jerry or another owner. People need to let it go.

If we had NOT extended Dak....our record would be exactly the same. Why? Because the coaching and talent on this team are not any better than the teams we lost too. The Saints, Ravens and Lions would beat us 10 out of 10 times if we played them again because they are better than us....and no dollar amount we paid Dak would matter. Like you said....there is not another QB on the planet that could have replaced Dak and changed the outcome. Score might be different, but the result would be the same!!!!!!!!!!

Yep. Don't do that. The worse in history? The myth that TRomo carried the offense with a bad line is just that. Names off the top.....Gurode, Columbo, Free, young Tyron Smith come to mind and Bill Callahan appears to have been the best OL coach.

When Callahan left, the OL play began to slide downward and with injuries, has not recovered.

Why is Dak always absolved of any blame when it comes to his poor play. After every INT, its either the receiver ran the wrong route or didnt do enough to break the pass up (see both ints when targeting ceedee in the endzone). After every fumble in the pocket (Sacks are a qb stat). And the most frequent excuse is scheme and lack of weapons. Was this not the same scheme when he was 2nd in mvp voting last season?







Cowboys twitter is filled with posts like this one. This is now the third offense where Dak fans have casted blame on the scheme.

The last question I pose is, what supposed top-5 QB have you seen constantly given these excuses for poor play? If he is as good as yall say, shouldnt his talent be able to overcome a “bad scheme”?

So when Romo got a punctured lung, and we saw several games where people were thinking geez he is going to get killed, it was all a myth. And back then when there were several articles written comparing that line and giving statistics to the previous bad offensive line and people were talking about it on this board, you weren't around, and it was all a myth? Seems to me that you are trying to combine several years of players and their performances, versus looking at the low point years, and then saying "Myth!"
