R2A Mock 3

I'd be pretty happy with this draft.

I don't know anything about that RB pick, so I won't judge that.

Why did you list them at "307 pds" instead of Lbs?

Find me somebody who has never missed on a prospect that has T. Smith ranked clearly below the top 10 and I will concede..

I also said Smith would be amongst the BPA at 9...We aren't talking about one guy ranking him 30 and another guy having him as a 2nd rounder..both wright and bunting have him ranked as legitimate top 10 possibilities

sorry man, but I havent seen anything in the guys play the warrants a top ten pick or says he will be a great LT. I have never seen him play LT. I watch him play and he is just a average RT playing in the weak Pac 10.

Every year there are players the run up the board based just off of athletic ability, the way they look in their underwear, and potential. Most the times those guys get tagged as a bust.

Why spend the 9th pick overall on a project with "potential" when you can get a true starting NFL RT, what we need at 17-21?. I think its stupid to draft a player in the top ten based on just potential.

Don't worry about what all these online guys say, they are wrong just as many times they are right. Watch him play, see what he does, everything I have seen doesn't show me anything where I would be ok with drafting him at 9 and be comfortable with releasing Colombo. Right now Colombo is a better RT than Smith.

IMO, you did a nice job. Not crazy about Love, but love the Helu pick. Helu is big, fast, and agile. Unlike most of the people on this board, I think he has a chance to become a good NFL back.

Those seem to be the two picks I have with the most varying opinions, people either Love Love or hate Love, and either love Helu or hate Helu. I don't see many people inbetween on those two prospects.

lol @ anyone who suggests smith being taken 9th overall is a waste..

Not only is Smith amongst the possible BPA..but he fits one of our core needs

I personally would love this draft...Kudos to the kid

any pick, whether its the first pick or the 9th pick if its a tackle, regardless of being a right or left, who can be solid probowl level player for 10+ is a fantastic pick.
