The Rams had things go against them. Stafford had 2 INT’s in the Super Bowl and Jalen Ramsey was face-masked on a big play he gave up. That was clearly an offensive PI. Saw a couple of fans on this board trying to spin the league had it all planned for the Rams to win the Super Bowl. Some think all the games are predetermined.

That's my point, they had luck on their side.

No team had more luck on their side than Cincinnati. No one was picking them to go to the Super Bowl when the playoffs started. Burrow was sacked 18 times in the playoffs. Cincy was having to dig their way out of holes in every playoff game. They overcame an 18 point deficit against Kansas City to get to the Super Bowl. Their luck finally ran out. There isn’t a team that won the Super Bowl that didn’t have some luck on their side.

The Rams weren’t lucky.

They had clutch drives late in the 4th quarter of multiple games, and deserve credit.

They did benefit, however, from league parity where there wasn’t a dominant team they had to face.

What was lucky about the Rams’ late drive in the Super Bowl, when the were down 3 and scored a TD with less than two minutes left?

It certainly wasn’t lucky to lose OBJ for most of the game, including that drive, yet they still won.

I don’t like the Rams but they were the best team this year in a watered-down league.

Lol almost every flag for the game came on that drive and all of them favored Rams. They missed a false start on the Rams entire line, and the other flag was offsetting penalties. ..LOL

Yes the Rams are lucky. They have:

1) an owner that knows his place

2) a GM that knows his elbow from his rear end

3) a non retread coach that schemes to maximize his rosters talent.

4) a QB that can hit the broad side of a barn

Yep. Lucky to win inded. All of it pure luck.

But all those flags were deserved, except possibly the holding call which admittedly was a little ticky-tack. Even the link you posted doesn’t say otherwise.

The Bengals had no answer for Kupp. That has nothing to do with luck for the Rams.

The Bengals, on the other hand were lucky the receiver facemask penalty against Ramsey wasn’t called to start the second half. They were gifted a TD because of that missed call so they can’t complain about the officiating.

I mean hats off to them still they got the ring, but their team didn't really look unbeatable and looked like any other good team this year. 49ers should have beat them in the NFC Championship and the Bengals got a terrible call against them that would have made it 4th and goal from the 10 on their final drive. A few things went there way and that's why their Superbowl Champs.

The trades helped make them better but they got lucky.

Not a conspiracy theorist but it felt like the NFL wanted the Rams to go far this year so that they could succeed in Los Angeles.

Those who think that is the model to follow in order to win a Championship are mistaken.

Definitely true! The league SO WANTED the Rams!

There were calls all through the game they let go, how they miss the false start just like they missed the facemask and then all of a sudden they see they throw flags on the last Rams drive...lol

Rams won the Superbowl because of the risk they take, not luck.

They were all in. Superbowl or bust.

Dallas doesn't care about the superbowl. The Jerry and Stephen are quite comfortable with their job title. No one is going to fire them for their incompetitence.

Yeah. Ok. Dallas is the only team that doesn’t care about winning. Just money. Gotcha.
