Kapernicks' ego won't let him go somewhere where he isn't going to start, If Kelly somehow stays in Philly, I almost think Kapernick is a lock there. Otherwise, Buffalo, NY Jets, St. Louis, and Houston could be in the mix.

Don't get me wrong, RG3 and Johnny Football have big egos as well. They just have been humbled a little more.

In the NFL draft, the value of the QB position supersedes any other draftable position.
If the team needs a QB, and the QB is projected to be available at the selection, a smart GM pulls the trigger.

Does Dallas need a QB? More than likely.
1. Romo's recurring health issues impacts his future availability in the offseason program, training camp, and normal practice schedule during the regular season, in addition to the upcoming season and beyond.
2. Romo's age - Father time is undefeated & untied.
3. Currently, there is no young reliable QB on the Cowboys roster that is projected to be a NFL starter.
4. Percentages suggest that teams have a higher success rate in employing quality/starter QB's drafted in the 1st round more so than in later rounds or free agency.

If Dallas is fortunate to be picking in the top 5 or between 6 and 10, and if a QB is projected to be available within those selections, Jerry the GM needs to select the QB.
Trust your draft board and focus on the present and future reality of the needs of the team.
At this time, the investment and reward of the QB position is worth the risk.

Kaep also spent Harbaugh's years in arrested development and regressed horribly after he left from the point he went from franchise QB to benched for the only starting QB of the last 5 years that could give Weeden a run for his money as Worst Starter In The NFL.

I think it's more then ego. I think its a blend of ego, lack of intelligence ( both functional intelligence and common sense) and being unwilling to be coached and/or grasp coaching ( which ties to the first two).

I think Kaep right now is the poster child for what you dont want in a day 1 or 2 QB prospect

I take BPA regardless of position.

People throw out the senerio with passing on QB and taking Wentz in the second .
He may not be available with the second pick.

Exactly. Again, I love the idea of BPA (and pass rusher, in particular), but you can't take chances.

You simply cannot roll the dice that a QB will be there in the second, and if there is one, he may not be a player to warrant the selection, so I will maintain that if the potential franchise QB is there in the first, you close your eyes, thank God, run to the podium and take him.

QB should be top priority to me.Romo can play but he is very fragile ,this is the time to get a future QB.

Tell you what a QB I like a lot Baker Mayfield that kid can play football. I don't know where he is projected but man he can play.

He's a crummy version of Manziel with less talent and less off field issues

It is kind of a moot debate, I dont think there is any way Jerry is going to take a QB in the first round.

How dynamic would Jones and Ramsey be at Safety?

He wanted J Football and that was before this nightmare of a season.

I agree with this. However, as most times go the 1,2 slots will go QB
if rated in top ten. Then we can have a chance of maybe Bosa or Ramsey.
There you go defense and hope a second round QB falls to you.

I like Ramsey but picking a Cb that high is not my cup of tea,If we dont pick a QB then i vote for a DE or DT.

WWJD.......What would Jerry do. They believe Romo will play 6 more years.

I take Ramsey at a position that needs talent and Jerry wants first round prospects to play day 1. I don't think we draft QB in first round until Romo is done.

Defense all day top 10. CB, S, DL, LB in no order. A chance at Earl Thomas, Watt, Kuechly....yes please. Also Jerry was very high on Thomas and had he fell to 24 instead of Dez I think we take him

Bosa, Ramsey before the QB's IMO, you pick a QB in rd one you had better be darn sure he is the right fit. I do not see a good fit at this point in time. Will I support the team if they draft one because media and fan pressure dictates of course. I have survived through the Dewayne Goodrich, the special teams draft, and the Roy Williams ate my top draft picks while bringing nothing to the table. Its early and everybody has strong opinions till the underwear olympics sways our minds.

Take a QB even if the talent pool is depleted, you cannot effectively play this game with rules like this etched in stone. If you are inclined to be happy with even a backup than I agree. This pick is important and if it is a QB we will have it hanging around our neck for five years. That should make you pause.

Some Teams Grade Jalen Ramsey in Round Two
Updated Dec. 13, 2015
By Charlie Campbell - @draftcampbell

Entering the 2015 season, there was a lot of positive buzz about Florida State junior defensive back Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey was a tremendous playmaker as a starting safety for the Seminoles in 2014. Sources said they felt that Ramsey could be a special safety prospect for the NFL and a potential top-20 pick. Florida State moved Ramsey to corner as a junior, and while he had a quality year, sources at some teams have graded Ramsey as an early second-round pick.

Our sources have told us that the 6-foot-1, 204-pounder showed well as a press man corner and would be a good fit in the Seahawks defensive scheme. However, talent evaluators feel that Ramsey struggles to prevent separation from speed receivers and good route-runners. They felt that tapes against South Florida and Miami among others illustrated that.

Sources have said that teams who mix in off man, zone, along with press man don't feel that Ramsey is a good fit for their scheme, hence the second-round grade. For those teams, he could easily be moved back to safety as a pro.

Teams feel that Ramsey is still likely to be a first-round pick and could go in the middle of the first. They believe that there will be a team that values him that highly even though they don't.

Ramsey will be drafted to play safety and he'll probably be a top 10 pick.

Take Ramsey because if room get hurt then when we right back to this for which we can get the qb Watson from Clemson to groom behind room... better arm and accuracy in my opinion and can create on his own for which in my opinion is what u need in todays nfl.. pocket awareness and is really good in situation football.. the fact he can run and thorw accurate balls is a legit weapon

Who knows where the team will place Ramsey versus the QBs in their BPA pecking order.

My personally? I am scared of both Goff and Lynch and would rather take a more sure thing in Ramsey at S or Smith/Jack at OLB or Nkemdiche at DT.
