When Randle goes for 1400 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving this year, am I allowed to laugh at 60% of the posters in this thread?

Or is that against forum rules? Just want to make sure before I do my vocal warmups.

That's almost 2000 yards from scrimmage.:lmao2:

Even in his best wet dream of all time Randle has never put up that type of yardage so I think you can hold off on clearing your throat bro, you aint going to be singing jack.:lmao:

And before last year, Murray had not either. Once I get clearance on the laughing, I'll start my exercises.

The year before last Murray still had 1500 yards from scrimmage in 14 games.

Randle doesn't even have 600 total yards from scrimmage for his ENTIRE CAREER.......................if the team thought Randle could carry Murray's jock strap, he would not have spent the first two years of his career guarding the water bucket.

Dumb. Whatever your thoughts are on Murray, the guy played his heart out for us last year, and he should be respected for it.

He played his heart out for whoever was willing to offer him the best contract in a contract year. Simple as that. Would be nice to think that these players do it for the team, but they have their own interests to look out for. No disrespect to Murray or anyone else chasing the money, because I'd do the same. But anyone who wouldn't play their hearts out when a large contract is on the line would be foolish.

Clarence Hill is the king of asking questions with an agenda. The only one worse is McMahon in the Dallas market. McMahon looks for dumb players and tries to trick them.

Hill will ask the same question 3 or 4 times trying to get the answer that will go with what he is trying to write. He asked a question about Murray but the quote didn't say what he wanted. That didn't stop him from writing the headline.

I wasn't responding to anything Clarence Hill reported in the past but rather what he reported in this particular instance. In this report, he directly quoted Randle as having said Murray "left a lot of meat on the bone." I just responded to that and certainly not whatever Hill's past inclinations may have been in the past. If Hill flatly lied, maybe it's up to Randle to sue the man for defamation or whatever else might be legally appropriate.

this is the type of comment that you can say to teammates, you don't say it publicly...if I were Murray, all of the "gosh, I really like my ex-teammates" comments just got tossed in the trash...he ain't leaving no meat on the bone against dallas...that being said, I think his comments were correct

You would think that he would have learned about his big mouth getting him into trouble after his police video last year. Hope his play on the field can back up his words.

Agreed. It's a good bet Randle isn't garnering any points from the majority of his teammates. They may not publicly say anything against him but it's hard to picture those with any good sense admiring his F---ed up ways.
As hard as his positional coach is trying to make him look good, Randle makes it meaningless.

Based on this, I can't really tell if he actually meant it how people are taking it. Maybe -- I just can't even tell what he means.

I have an even harder time understanding what he is implying here either:

“Besides my first two years here, I haven’t ever been nothing but a star,” Randle said. “And I was still a star last year because I had a star on my helmet, so I’m just going to keep being me, Joe Randle.”

It's as if English is his second language or something. It sounds offensive but I can't quite tell if he's meaning to say it how it's coming off.

Clarence Hill quoting Randle makes it seem like he's [Randle] saying Murray left a lot of yards on the field. When reading the quote in the article, I could see Randle saying he could have been utilized more in the overall rushing game. I don't know, but I agree. It's pretty hard to understand.
here is the actual quote
“He had a good year last year, and I got to sit back and watch a lot,” Randle said, “and I felt like there was a lot of meat left on the bone.”

To me that seems like he is saying that he could have done better than murray last year had he been the starter .
He would have gotten more meat off the bone lol.

I think he he has any success this year, he will become a diva complete with celebrations and more statements such as this.

This is exactly the kind of stuff that causes teammates to get turned off on him. Offensive linemen, especially, have a natural tendency to block just a bit harder for someone they actually like. They loved and respected Murray for the way he treated them and others on the team.

I really can't help but wonder if that advantage will be awarded to Randle or not. It only takes a little extra effort to make a big difference sometimes. Now and then it's not forthcoming quite so much as other times, especially if it's a RB they can't stand. Not saying it'll happen in Dallas but if it does, it wouldn't be the first time. I think Randle needs to watch himself going forward.

I dont understand why fans think a player should keep his mouth shut, but fans can voice whatever they want. And feel theyre right about it 100%. Hell Jerry Jones even said Randle would be getting 100 yrds game getting 20 carries a game. And it wasnt down talking Murray either, it was just knowing he has the best OL in football.

it is not a sure thing until another back does it like murray did. We will find out this season if any back can do it.
If jerry thought any back could do it, why even sign McFadden, why not just go with randle and the other 2?

Randle played well, but make no mistake, Murray wore down the defense. I've seen this scenario before where the backup thinks he's better and then he gets the starting role and can't handle it.

I've been on Randle's bandwagon, even when some folks preferred Dunbar, or now Ryan Williams and McFadden. But man, he has to keep it on the low for a bit. I can see him doing something extremely stupid again and getting cut because of his track record.

Deion smack talker.
He can talk the talk but I bet he can't walk the walk.

He will be on or looking for a new team next year.
