I'll leave out most of the obvious and/or things that have been said often. Credit to the many unmentioned players who really showed up to play.
-Biadasz: I'm not ready to give up on him. His run blocking is more than acceptable. We ran all over them all night and he was right in the middle of that many times. He does seem to get pushed backwards in pass protection more than you'd like. He has been around long enough to have maxed out strength wise, so thats a bit of a concern, but I wouldn't go advocating for Farinok just yet, and I doubt the team is considering that at this point.
-Overall depth: The Garrett era felt like we had a top heavy roster. Some stars, names, etc.....but when one starter would go down the drop-off would be quite noticeable, and the opposition seemed to inevitably exploit that and it would cost us. Now when guys like Collins/Wilson/Armstrong go down, we have others to come in and offer up a similar performance.
-Speaking of Steele: He just looks different. Last year he looked like your average fat man....like an extra in a football movie. Now he looks the part of an NFL tackle and is backing it up on the field. If I'm Collins, I'm nervous.
-JSmith: One play aside, he really did play pretty well. The spy role is probably where he is best used at this point, and the coaches are doing an excellent job of putting people in the right places to get the most out of them....something that was missing here for a very long while.
