I loved it too...so much I broke down and bought it.

If you can find the episode of That Metal Show where they have anvil on it...it is a must watch with a funny story on it.

I thought Clint Eastwood could have done a better job of helping the audience understand some of the nuances of the game of Rugby.

Regardless, Clint Eastwood is the best director in Hollywood at the moment.

I agree completely about the nuances. I thought the movie dragged on and really didn't captivate me. I saw a documentary on the same thing that was much better than this.

My wife grew up in SA back when that happened and her father was a political prisoner. She cried during most of the film. She did said they didn't portray the hatred/resentment the people had towards the Springboks well enough.

Morgan Freeman nailed his role, though.

I watched the scariest movie

that was produced in 1996 (scarier than 100.00% of the "scary" movies that are out nowadays)

Haunted

pretty good although I predicted the ending about halfway through

edit: there are Kate Beckinsale boobies in a couple scenes

Sad to hear about the inglorious ******* reviews so far. I will still get it though as I love WWII movies and normally like Quentin.

Watched Inkheart the other night...pretty crappy even for a family adventure movie.

I.B. was a 10/10 my friend

I was hesitant to watch that because I was so disappointed by The DaVinci Code. How would you compare it to that?

To be honest with you,I ever saw the DaVinci Code, and I did not miss a beat.

I just saw "The Road". It was a decent movie but pretty depressing. The book was better too. It is worth a video viewing but I would save your money for theater for another movie like maybe 2012 or Avatar.

Avatar- 7/10. nothing to special. Visuals were nice. Saw the 3d version if that matters, few moments were it would "pop out at you". def didn't see anything worth 300 mil though.

I still can't believe Maikeru-sama went to go see Precious.... LOL

Man, I got talked into seeing that movie after some relatives during Thanksgiving said it was good. I really didn't want to see it but a lot of relatives claimed it was good.

It was horrible and the person I went with asked me how long the movie was about 5 minutes into the movie :laugh2: .

But Wraith, I think you should go see it, I think it is still playing in the theaters. I feel you should suffer just as much as I did :laugh2: .

The Hangover 8/10

I'm surprised it lived up to the hype. I took points off for the male butt shots. *shudders*

Fun! Fun! Fun! movie! Funny and alot of kung ** action. And you get to see the history of rosco's chicken and waffles, lol. If you like black exploitation spoofs, check it out. They made it for $3mil and stars Michael Jai White (Spawn).

(I mention this in light of the previous poster mentioning Black Dynamite)

Yeah, Rudy Ray Moore is the funny.

You will get a kick out of his "slow karate".
