Rate the last movie you saw

Notice the convenient excuses (wife and son) that both attach to mitigate their embarrassment.

Meh.

I went to see it because I wanted to see it. It was consistently humorous, and I laughed.

I must have missed that

seeing that we share the same mind and all, I just don't recall, maybe it went to sleep

You know that we don't always let all of our personalities see what we do.:D

Taking of Pelham 123 - 7/10

It was a decent action movie but I kind of was expecting more.

just watched Revolutionary Road... ok, finished watching it today b/c all the drinking in the movie made me want to have martinis and after #4, I was out... I digress.

8/10 - Winslett is a great actress. Tough tough subject matter.

The Hangover - 9/10
Taking of Pelham 123 - 6/10
Drag Me to Hell - 6/10
The International - 4/10
Underworld 3 - 6/10
Fanboys - 5/10
The Reader - 7.5/10
Bedtime Stories - 4/10
Paul Blart - 1/10
Last Chance Harvey 6/10
Star Trek (2009) - 9/10
Terminator Salvation - 8/10

Just saw "The Proposal" with wife and mother-in-law on Friday.

A so-called "romantic comedy" that is very good. I was surprised how good it was.

I would say 7 out of 10, but Sandra Bullock nude pushes it to an 8.

Up - 10/10, possibly the best thing Disney/Pixar has ever produced. I don't cry over movies (Marley and Me didn't bring me anywhere near tears and I'm a dog lover, despite what everyone was saying about it) but this one got me teary eyed a few times.

Might also be the first time I've seen blood in a Pixar flick, come to think of it. Just a generally mature film with well thought out characters. We saw it in 3D too, and that was great, worth the price (almost $20 a piece).

Ok, now I gotta go see this. The very first preview made this look so awfully boring and uninteresting but has got nothing but good reviews.

Now, who do I have to sleep with to get them to make the Incredibles 2??

Drag Me To Hell

Raimi is back to his roots with this one. Pretty good flick if you like horror movies.

7/10

Guess I'll add a new one:

Up - 3D: 6/10

After the first 15-20 minutes I thought Pixar finally had another great movie after so many disappointments in a row. Then the stupid kid, dog, and bird showed up and it was pretty typical and rather dull kiddy fair with the exception of a few moments towards the end. It's like they started with a good well thought idea about the man and his wife and just threw in a bunch of other crap to fill in the missing pieces. Kinda like Wall-E in that regard.

The 3D for Up was underwhelming, it didn't really seem like it was made for 3D that much. It added some depth to some scenes, but not much difference really. The trailer stupid gerbal movie or whatever critter that was was MUCH more impressive as far as the 3D went.

Here's the last five, working in reverse:

Super Troopers - 5/10

Up - 9/10

The Hurt Locker - 9/10

Star Trek - 8/10

I Love You Man - 7/10

Mr. Brooks 7/10.

I had seen it before, but it is the last movie I watched. I re-watch movies a lot.

I loved UP and both my kids loved it; the dog is the best character in that movie.
