What parts are really lol funny?

Jay and Silent Bob was the one where he went real hard for laughs and it had some good gags.

But like Dogma, Chasing Amy, Clerks 1 etc. are more smart, clever, laugh in your head comedies.

laugh in your head? Is that some sort of degree of funny?

I love smart, clever, witty humor, so those are the times I'll generally laugh out loud. I wouldn't say there was any movie he went real hard for the laughs more than others (though Chasing Amy obviously is a lot more dramatic). I find Clerks 2 to be the funniest of his movies, but Chasing Amy is the best, but all of them have laugh out loud moments...except maybe Cop Out, but he didn't write that.

The kind of humor that you enjoy even though you have a blank expression on your face.

They never show Chasing Amy but I remember really liking that one.

Clearks 2?......eeeh. That pansy character at Moobys was annoying.

Tyson - 8.5/10.
I was always a fan, but his hilariously illustrative way of hurling out these narratives is enough to make it very entertaining. His description of his and King's whole affair was priceless.

But I do end up feeling bad for the guy.

If by annoying you mean awesome, then yes. Pillowpants - that's laugh out loud funny.

Tyson
6/10

I thought it was a decent documentary on Mike Tyson. I think it does a good job of forcing the viewer to ponder what Tyson's life would have been like if Cus D'amato had not died so early in Tyson's career.

I thought about getting that at Best Buy but I don't want to pay 19.99 for it.

eBay maybe

I don't know how clever the dating game was. It seemed pretty crude to me and makes me LOL

Also Jay and Bob beating up the Easter Bunny

Jay: "He's ****ing dead!"
Brody: "Leave him alone, he's under a lot of pressure"

Or when they 1st get into the mall. "You look forward, or you face certain pain and humiliation *WOP*

Year Zero: the Silent Death of Cambodia

This is the first of many John Pilger documentaries I have acquired. Even though this was filmed in the 70s, I admit I had to turn it off a few times when he showed all the starving children.

I read on Wiki that a ton money was raised after this documentary was aired in England.

Iron Man 2: 9/10

Just as good as the original. More story in this one as it talks about Stark dealing with his mortality. You get to see Iron Man drunk which is quite entertaining. Special Effects are there for sure, all of which are very good. Action sequences are awesome, however the climactic boss fight was slightly disappointing. All in all a great movie that I would pay again to see for a second time. Scarlett Johansson is amazing in the movie (not her acting, just her) HOT HOT HOT.

PS. If you see the movie and you are a Marvel fan you MUST stay until after all the credits (a good 4-5 minutes of em) for a small clip at the end. Won't say what but if you like the Marvel universe you'll like it.

I was also slightly disappointed they cut some initial scenes out that were in the trailers.

Brooklyn's Finest -- IC

Halfway through but it's looking average. The dialogue between Don Cheadle and Wesley Snipes is laughable. Are we supposed to believe that middle aged, African American men in 2010 actually talk the way they do in this movie? If you see it, or saw it, you'll know what I'm talking about. A couple examples

"I know cuz"

"youngbloodz"

"be ghost"

"smoke the mother****a"

"you gotta get the **** up out of dodge, B"

oh this movie's ****ed up

1/10 I sat through 2 hours for a ****ty, ****ed up ending.

So disappointed in this movie. Antwan Fuqua directed Training Day so I thought this would be a banging movie, but outside of Ethan Hawke's edgy performance, Richard Gere was a total ****ing stiff, and Don Cheadle was terribly cast in this one. Such a great actor, but all he did was frown, ***** and moan and shoot people. A role that should have gone to Common or 50 Cent instead.

IMO did not have enough of Jackie Earle Haley but I liked the make up for this reboot better.

Just got back from this, and that about sums it up completely. Only thing I slightly disagree on, and I do mean slightly, is the final villain part. I kind of took the whole ending in it's entirety as the climatic fight and not necessarily that small bit, though it definitely could have been a little longer.

Yeah I'd have to say that that whole 10-15 minute sequence at the end was pretty cool and I could see the boss fight as a part of it. My favorite action sequence had to be the Black Widow & Happy Hogan part near the end where Scarlett Johansson kicks some ***, that was pure hotness.
