what'd you think?

Pretty good. I liked it alot. Kinda suprising. Had no idea that movie was like that...had a totally different impression from when it came out.

Terminator Salvation

To be honest all these Terminator movies are starting to run together. This one takes place durring the "war" and centers around John Connor searching for Kyle Reese. He is aided by a Terminator that thinks it's human, because it was! Untill it was put to death for murder decades ago?
It was never quite explained how... Anyway it helps Connor infiltrate Skynet" and rescue the young Reese (and a bunch of others). But not before Connor is "mortaly" wounded by a very convincing CGI Arnold Terminator.
The ending is espicaly stupid and unrealistic.

6/10 for very good CGI effects aka Arnold.
It had a cute kid in it so it lost a whole point right there, and the story sucked.
:)

Sex Drive - 4/10

The Wrestler - 9/10

Strangers on a Train - 9/10

The Man Who Knew Too Much - 8.5/10

Rachel Getting Married - 8/10

Mini's First Time - 2/10 (The main character who is supposed to be a seductress is possibly one of the worst looking seductresses I've ever seen)

Run Fat Boy Run - 6/10

An American Affair - 5/10 (Really weird combo of 1960's historical piece with JFK conspiracy angles intertwined with a boy-coming-of-age main plot line-- I have no idea who wrote the plot, but I want to be on whatever drugs they were taking when they wrote it)

"dreamscape"

8/10

still a pretty cool movie 25 years later.

Everybody's Fine 6/10.

Interesting, clever, sad movie.

Blood Simple.
5/10

The Coen brothers have come a very long way...

Watched Four Christmases with my GF last night and laughed my *** off. Great movie. 7.5 out of 10.

Taken 9/10

9/10?

Even with the 25 year old playing a 16 year old that acted 10 years old?

She killed the whole movie for me.

Ive seen this one before, but I watched Terminator last night and fell it love with it all over again.

10/10 one of my favorite films of all time.

lol she barely had a role. it was all out his journey to get her back.

saw The Color Purple this weekend after Maikeru-sama mentioned it earlier in the thread. I had been meaning to watch it for the longest time.

7/10

very very good acting all around... like, VERY good acting... like worst Oscar snub of all-time acting

my favorite part, however, due to my sick sense of humor: When Danny Glover yells at his son to get his saddle ready and then he goes back into the house to yell at Whoopie Goldberg and not 10 seconds later storms outside to check on his saddle and kicks the door and sends it flying off its hinge... LOL

I rule, I know.

You were DISAPPOINTED by Old Dogs based on the advertisements? Oh boy. :D

Yeah. I thought it would be a bit more funny than it was. I never expected anything amazing but I thought it would be more funny.

That's what I was thinking. I can't imagine how people would want to see that.

Plus, Forgetting Sarah Marshall gets at least a 4/10 just for having Mila Kunis in a bikini (at least I think I remember her in a bikini).

She was but seeing women in a bikini isn't exactly going to get a movie any kind of rating. I can see women in bikinis on line, in real life, and every where else without having to waste my time watching a bad movie to see it.

The movie was just awful.

UP

What an absolutely wonderful motion picture, Disney/Pixar have out done themselves this time. Unlike most children's movies this was thoughtful and even heart wrenching at Squirrel times.

Beautifully drawn and animated, funny sad, thought provoking and it had a talking dog. What more could you Squirrel ask for.

10/10 (even though, it had a cute kid in it)

Ps. I also bought season One of Sons of anarchy just to balance out the sweetness of up.

Barely had a role?? Other than Liam Neeson, she probably had the most screen time of anyone.
