Rate the last movie you saw

Agreed, it was a terrible script. But the improv from Scott was so funny and fresh, I couldnt wait for his next line. Meanwhile Tracy Morgan was just yelling and drooling over himself.

Even w/ its flaws if they made it a 3 musketeers thing, or gave SWS one of the leads it could have been solid

And re-write the whole 3rd act. They introduced a pointless character and had unnecessary action.

Did the film even have enough substance that it deserved a new cast and new writing? Seems the simplest fix to me would be to just not make it, the buddy cop movie should die.

Cop Out - 3/10

Tracy Morgan was awful in this. Sean William Scott had the only funny scenes.

They should have made Sean William Scott the wacky cop. And if you still have to have the black/white thing replace Bruce Willis w/ Sam Jackson.

Tracy Morgan is NOT FUNNY imo...he's just ANNOYING. I actually walked out of this movie about half way through.

Inception -- 8.5/10

Was kind of disappointed in it. Not as good as the previews made it seem, but still a pretty good movie.

Disappointed and you give it 8.5:confused:

Translation: "I got lost about 45 minutes in and stopped paying attention."

Inception 9/10

Very good movie. Inception was similar to The Matrix in the themes with which it dealt; however, Inception is the superior film because it's far more subtle in its approach. If I had to summarize the respective approaches, I would do it like so:

The Matrix: "QUESTION REALITY!"

Inception: "I'm not sayin', but I'm just sayin'. You know what I mean? Just sayin' but I'm not really sayin'."

Apocalypto 10/10

I might get flack for placing this movie over Inception, but I found it thoroughly enjoyable.

The story wasnt even interesting so maybe not.

But it was a spoof of sorts on the buddy cop genre.......... but it didnt really even explore that. It was almost a spoof by accident b/c of its lameness.

Maybe I just loved the SWS character and want to see more. And Sam Jackson has the same Bruce Willis coolness and is funny. So if youre reading this Hollywood, do that.

Apocalypto sucked.

You're crazy. That is one of my all-time favorites. Every person I ordered to watch that movie thoroughly enjoyed it.

9/10. (my opinion, of course)

I liked Apocolypto as well, not one of my alltime favorites or anything but it was pretty good.

What do "kind of" mean?

:rolleyes:The action is what pretty much made the film. I just didn't like the characters too much, but whatever.

Student Bodies...best movie EVAH!1!111

Sometimes Malvert pees red.

Hot Tub Time Machine: 7 out of 10.

This is that movie. The one you were okay with the first time, but will watch it every time it is on TV because it shamelessly relishes its' own cheeziness. When the dude looked at the camera and said "it must be some kind of....Hot Tub Time Machine", I knew what I was in store for and went along for the ride. My wife did not and thought it was stupid (it was, but that was the point). Rather than explain it, I just sent her to bed so I could watch my movie in peace.

The Crazies: 6.5 out of 10.

I have zero interest in horror flicks, UNLESS, it is one of those Plague or Zombie flicks. If you like those type of movies, then it was worth the rent. If you don't, well......

I don't know you tell me. You are the one who wrote it. Anyone that says they were kind of disappointed and gives the score of 8.5 out of 10 I would think would not use disappointed in their review.

I still thought it was a pretty good flick, as I said in that very, same post. Just not as good as I thought it was going to be going in.

Maybe that's my fault as I had other-worldy expectations.
