Gone Girl - 6 out of 10. Great movie until roughly the last ten minutes. I really, really hated the way they ended it.

yeah, hated the ending too. i.d give 8 out of 10..that movie kept me glued to the screen more than any other in a while. maybe it was that actress,ha. too lazy to look up her name.

Avengers Age of Ultron 8/10. (watched Italian cam, no English. Action scenes were awesome)

People that were upset with the destruction in Man of Steel, wait until you see this movie. lol.

Avengers Age of Ultron 8/10 - Good action flick that I think Avengers' fans will appreciate. As PJ said, since there was a lot of action there was a lot of destruction; making the Man of Steel's devastation pale in comparison. The movie was a bit too long IMO and there were a few scenes I would have cut just to keep the pace of the movie going. I will have to watch this movie a couple of more times to get the whole meaning of the movie as there were so many things going on. I was really tired last night so I couldn't follow along with everything. I saw the movie in 3D and I thought it was put to good use. There was a cut scene in the middle of the credits. I didn't stay until the end credits because I was ready to leave by then. I read up on it and supposedly there aren't end of credit scenes anyway.

8.5/10.0

I do not have enough good things to say about Joss Whedon. He and Christopher Nolan have the vision to make these movies that eclipses the skill of pretty much everyone else. How can you integrate The Vision, The Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Ultron EQUALLY with the established cast seamlessly? Whedon knows. Excellent stuff. Bryan Singer should take lessons.

Some will dislike Whedon meshing James Spader's The Blacklist/Red Reddington vocal inflection and mannerisms into Ultron. Bleep 'em. Brilliant take on the villain.

I don't know how much box office the sequel will net but I will be very surprised if it falls short of the $1 billion mark worldwide.

There's nothing after the end credits conclude other than the movie stating, "The Avengers Will Return".

Avengers - Age of Ultron

I'd give it a solid 8.5 out of 10.

Was it as good as the first one? No, but that bar was set incredibly high. Not reaching those heights is no shame.

Although I love James Spader, the movie version of Ultron didn't thrill me. Way too much emotion involved for an AI Killing Machine bent on wiping out humanity.

But anyone who liked the first will like this one too.

Avengers 2 - 7/10. I did not like this as much as the first one. It didn't seem like it was paced as well. It was a little disjointed. Surprisingly the cgi in sime spots was pretty bad. It was still funny and enjoyable, but not as compelling as the last installment.

I give it an 8.5 out of 10. As for the destruction???? Yes there was a lot of it but they were fighting an army when Superman was fighting just one guy. They also evacuated the city and tried to save people. In Man of Steel he didn't even try to lead Zod out of the city even though Zod was hell bent on killing him. Avengers is a MUCH better written movie.

I would disagree with his assessmenT. I thought Man of Steel's destruction exceeded Ultron by a great margin.

Yes it did and at least in the Avengers they evacuated the city and tried to save people.

There is an end of credits scene with Thanos saying something like "Well I guess I will have to do it myself"

People want to believe the Man of steel has no flaws and is some sort of God like figure. He was just learning his own powers for the 1st time fully. That has to be taken into consideration. And it wasn't just Zod, he had his own army underneath him with the same powers as Supes.

Lets just agree to disagree. I will never like Man of Steel and you did. I am fine with that. To each his (or her) own. Peace!!!!

BTW - I loved the movie The Doors with Val Kilmer. I am sure we can agree on that.

Never said the movie was great. Just that people expect Supes to do no wrong. Or he has no flaws. Yes, Kilmer was great in the Doors. But the portrayal of Jim wasn't the best (Oliver Stones vision). Didn't show his humor or other sides of him other than as a drunk.

Well as for "The Doors" I am sure you know a lot more about them than me. I enjoyed their music and knew that Morrison died but anything else I may know (or think I know), I learned from the movie which are never 100% accurate. Kilmer did do an excellent job in the movie.

Did you know that Kilmer provided the singing for Jim's voice? Pretty amazing job he did.
