Instead of making it a mini series like the original, they just made it a movie.

It is not terrible, it is watchable and some of it is good.
However I think could have made a tad longer of a movie.

It still has that scary scene in it, although I thought it was much scarier in the original...of course I was younger when that one came out.

Day of the Dead: 8/10. Classic 80s zombie movie. The plot isn't great, but the practical effects are amazing. I have come to appreciate that sort of stuff as I have gotten older.

The acting is not very good.
Part of the main plot is silly.
But with that said, I kind of liked the twist.
Overall it is not that good, however the twist is enough for
you to watch it if you are bored.

The trailer looks pretty meh, but McAvoy was awesome, as always. There isn't much going on plot wise that the trailer doesn't tell you already, but the acting and pacing is really great. It has some undertones of criticizing the extremes of masculinity. McAvoy's character is a classic giga chad and the other husband is a **** Beta male, and they both are shown in a poor light. Pretty cool, simple movie with some good acting.

The acting sucks.
The plot and script are stupid.

With that said...the action scenes are really good.

Flying suit scene
Motorcycle scene
Snowboarding scene

They really are good. It is worth the watch just for those scenes. Just keep in mind that the rest of the movie is terrible.

I think that is why they were making fun of the Danes in the first part of the movie.
With that said I have only watched the first 15-20 minutes of as I was getting sleepy...Might watch it tomorrow.

It has a cool twist but in order to develop it does one
of those Tarantino type thing where he uses chapters of scenes but
not in the subsequential order.
Not the best movie although it is getting better rankings than I thought it would.

I'm a little surprised, but I think I kind of, sort of, liked it, at least a little.
There are definitely parts I liked quite a bit. And definitely aspects I didn't really care for at all (mostly related to the musical bits).

In general, I liked what they tried to do with the story and character. The presentation is just a little disjointed and pulled me out of it at times.

If I had to give it a number right now, I'd say 6.5/10.

It's getting absolutely hammered in the reviews. It's bombing pretty good.

Watched this one.
Kind of weird.
They do a good job of making situations that are completely awkward and tense.
The acting was very good but McAvoy is usually pretty good and underrated.

Overall it was a slower burner movie that boils over. It is a good movie but not great.

I have really liked the Hellboy movies. Even the one before when Ron Pearlman was no longer playing the role.
This one...terrible

I was only a couple of minutes in and I started thinking this was not a real studio movie but a fan made movie.
The acting, script, direction, lighting and camera work were just so bad that I thought it was fan made.
If it was from a real studio they must have had the same budget of the original blair witch project but with everything being else being terrible.

I went to IMDB to look and see some reviews and rating. Rating was terrible and multiple other reviewers said the same thing...they thought it was a fan made film.

I tried two times to watch it and just had to quit at a max of 20-30 minutes.

I feel bad for anyone that went to the theater or bought the DVD or Online movie purchase.

Just terrible.

Til' Death - Watched this tonight on Netflix. It wasn't even on my radar, but my wife put it on this evening. I had low expectations and almost left the room to do something else, but the movie ended up sucking me in. I was pleasantly surprised! It's a solid thriller that kept me engaged throughout, featuring tense moments and unexpected twists. While it has a few typical Hollywood tropes, overall, I found it entertaining and worth my time on the couch.
