What I read here is that you're young and don't know much about football, if you a) grew up watching the Campo years and b) said Felix Jones was going to be a bust. You trying to use your alleged thoughts about Tashard Choice (who IS 3rd string if you haven't realized) is nothing more than a pathetic attempt to pigeonhole your entire argument on one claim to say "see! I'm right!"

I didn't say I don't know much about football. I'm saying I was hear during some of the worst cowboys years and didn't ditch the team. Tashard Choice also started for us last year through injury and played very well. He also will be getting a lot more playing time this year. You misinterpreted my whole post and took it for what you wanted it to be. What I was saying is that yeah i've been wrong in a couple of assements of players however, I've also been right. I also went thru the campo years and stuck with the team so i'm not a fair weather fan. So whatever point you're trying to make or what you think you're trying to make just stop it. Keep the thought to yourself. You entire assement of my post is garbage and silly and your notion and ideas hold no water basically you're just pissing in the wind with your ideas.

Are you planning on watching every Cowboy game this year? Because with a 3 then don't even bother man. Wasting your time.

Yeah I do. I have no faith in the team but i'll still watch them. Isn't that what being a fan is about?

That pretty much tells me all I need to know about you. Not your fault, you just haven't experienced any success as a Cowboy fan. Makes it very hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I'm at a nine. The OL play this preseason has me giddy. It was my only concern.

I remember us winning championships in the 90's. But it's different as I continued to get old ya know?

I voted a 6. I think we win 7 to 9 games and miss the playoffs.

OHSSS NOOESSSS! Someone disagrees with slate! Then they must be a fool! I don't feel 100% confident either....I agree with that "feeling". I just dont think we have that THING we need to get over the hump. I just dont think we scare anyone. I really hope I'm wrong.

Our offense will score points. We've got some decent players at WR, stacked at RB, stacked at TE, and have a pretty good QB group.

We have no depth on the OL and DL, which scares the beejezus out of me.

CB - if Newman is healthy, and Scandrick and Jenkins improve, we should be fine. But I'm still a little worried there.

But not nearly as worried as I am about the S position.

The intelligence question comes from you saying you have "absolutely no confidence" whatsoever in the team and then grading it a 3. Mathematically that'll be a zero

At this point I would have to say about a 6. Some great spots in this preseason. Both the Offense and Defense have shown the potential to dominate. But, I still saw some flashes of the problems that plagued us late last year.

That Romo pick against San Fran reminded me of Pitt and Baltimore. Wayyy too many penalties. Judging by the way they moved the ball at will, Dallas should have been killing Tenn and San Fran at half-time, but the games ended up within one score due to dumb penalties and our D giving up drives right before the half.

They can certainly build on what I have seen and go on to great things, but I have said that the previous two seasons as well while ignoring the signs. I originally thought they could go 12-4, but now I am thinking 9-7 or 10-6. Hope this team dedicates itself to eliminating stupid mistakes and develops the attitude to finish the season, but I am still on the fence.

Having said that, come kick off of the first game, the blinders will be back on and I will go back to 12-4.
