Maybe they will actually bring in another RB.

Ronald Jones will be the first to never get paid back those fines, he was only here as a camp body and preseason so we could keep our rostered RBs fresh.
Use RJ strong all preseason, and then cut since he is suspended already.

Zeke's music hits.
Will Jones be on the Rolodex ahead of Zeke if he has a total meltdown in camp and preseason, don't think so, NE better act quickly.
Let's look at this situation realistically, Cowboys have total leverage on his future now, that is a good thing and let's discuss why.
Jones has major motivation now, Moreso than he ever had before, this man better showcase Camp and Preseason, because this 2 game suspension just
pushed him back a bit on some team's rankings.

Davis is the 2 anyway. Two games ain’t much but I had him penciled out of my 53.

RB1: Pollard
RB2: Davis
RB3: Vaughn

Dowdle has been valuable as a ST and has juice, he’s just rarely healthy. Is Luepke really competing with McKeon for FB vs TE4?

Jones to me only made the roster if A) he exhibited Tampa Bay RJ form or B) he could at least be a steady vet in the event that none of the younger guys could take the spot. With the suspension though, he seems like a prime PS candidate.

no telling lol
they never give us the details, just that a player is suspended and the general reason.
That is not fair to the player, as fans imagination takes over and they also judge and convict the player, or they defend him for no reason lol.
They should give the details.
Exactly why I posed the question; so hopefully some of the people laying into him might step back until they know the whole story.

Many didn't think Jones was going to make the cut anyway.
For the record, I wanted a better backup RB before the news of this suspension. Jones wasn’t the answer regardless imo. And I haven’t inducted Deuce into the HOF yet like the many you are referencing that thought Jones would get cut. Honestly not sure how it could be possible to think that some combo of Deuce, Davis, Luepke, Dowdle will be fine in the event of another serious Pollard injury. Seems like a repeat of the mistake made with the WR position last year if you ask me

Yes, it's actually a good sign when a player gets popped for taking performance enhancing substances. What could ever go wrong going forward?
He is a backup running back that might not even make the team. The worst that could happen is he does make the team and misses 1st two games. They 6 running backs.

I don’t understand how the head coach keeps saying he wants to run the ball more but the front office hasn’t really addressed RB like they should. They must really love Malik Davis.

The offensive line is severely lacking in depth when an inevitable injury happens.

Yet they drafted a TE in the second round.
Wow. You really don't understand what McCarty meant by that statement. He didn't mean what you think.

The OL is fine. There is depth at every position. At least a couple future starters.

They drafted a blocker in the 2nd to improve the blocking. He plays TE and adds to the pass game also.

The team is talented no doubt but Stephen usually has some contingency plans in place. Must be hoping for guys to be released at end of camp.
McCarthy has ALWAYS said he wants to run the ball the more. It is an attempt to cover up his pass happy nature.

Mike, overall was a good coach, but his offense becomes too predictable over time, and his play calling will drive you mad at times.

The reason the Packers fired him is because he is stuck in his ways, and the game has passed him by.

Wow, well that will lower your chances at making the team. Ive been saying its his job to lose and unless he blows the team away in the preseason he definitrly took a step back.

How long has he been using PED's?

Looking at his uninspiring resume, I hope it's recent.
